This is my story!

1. Christmas is on a Tuesday! A Teapot Tuesday! We getta take this opportunity to just wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! No Challenge today, even though its Tickle A Teapotter Tuesday.

2. A few weeks back we all signed up to Tickle a Teapotter and by now our cards probably have arrived at their destination...now its time to relax, have fun, and enjoy this day with your family and friends! Merry Christmas on this Teapot Tuesday!

We have spent an hour or more laughing this morning, when Mom opened her gift from her brother and sister in law...three pairs of socks. Perfect gift for a 90 year old? She would have appreciated money, food, or wine....instead got socks. Even toilet paper and kleenex would have been better. we have NEVER laughed so hard. Tears.

Hope your Christmas has fun surprises (not socks), and that you are all well and enjoying family. Hugs to you all!

Gosh, I'm amazed that a card from Kim arrived on time. I didn't sign up because I was so sure that anything I sent would be late.

A happy Christmas season to all of you teapotters! I had a wonderful time with my youngest daughter and her family....my newest grandson of only 6 weeks old! They were all happy with their gifts and so was I!.......some beautiful Indian paper and an Encyclopedia of Paper Folding Designs for card making!

A belated Merry Christmas to all, and a happy new year filled with blessings. We have been on the road (in our car this time) with limited internet access and of course no mail! It has been good visiting family, but we are ready to sleep in our own bed.

Happy New Year y'all....I'm getting mine in early as I head off to work and won't be up with you party animals tonight as get to work tomorrow too....WHOOHOO!!!! don't I have a fun life....LOL!!! but with temps barely above zero and wind chill way below zero, I wouldn't be out in it anyway....leave that to the younguns...

Happy New Year to you too Sheri! I lived a life like yours for many years.........permanent night shift in a small hospital. Last year I worked New Years......and it just so happened that at the stroke of midnight we had no patients in the E.R. dept, and we had a pot luck lunch and a glass of bubbly......sparkly ginger ale of course. Good thing we celebrated then because it got really busy later on! It's been a rewarding career, but I retired in May and am enjoying that too! It's a strange feeling at first, to finally be 'in sinch' (sp?) with the rest of the world.
