Post MMTPT130 ~ IT'S PINK AND IT'S BLUE! IT'S ALL ABOUT TWO! THROW A MONKEY IN THERE TOO!

WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY
THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING TEAPARTY
AND CHALLENGE #130

IT'S PINK AND IT'S BLUE!
IT'S ALL ABOUT TWO!
THROW A MONKEY IN THERE TOO?
OH MY GOODNESS, WHO KNEW?

Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!

This is my story!

1. These will shed some light on our teaparties! Can't ya just see a whole room decorated around these two adorable teapot lamps. It's truly amazing what you find when you google teapots. I have googled whimsical teapots, unique teapots, collectible teapots, and teapots with just about any critter on them imaginable. Although when I googled pictures of teapots with monkeys on them, I had nightmares for a week. Try it, you will see what I mean! I never thought to google lamp shade teapots and when I bumped into these while I was in googleville I could not resist! I love the pom poms or dingle balls as my dh refers to them!

2. Meet Scarlet and Saphire. Two aspiring interior decorators who are on the virge of graduating from an elite Interior Design School. Everyone at school thinks they have such an attitude but they are just a colorful pair who dress with such flair They both have red hair, their color of eyes is really quite rare as is the friendship they share. They are not all that snooty, not all that snobby and no, they don't treat decor like its a mere hobby! It's not really fair that they've been issued a dare, they just wanna learn and keep the others outa their hair! But, they find themselves in quite the dilema and are determined to show its decorating they know! All they have to do is get themselves hired, satisfy the client's desire and try not to get fired! They mighta bit off a little more than they can chew by running an ad using a company slogan to the tune of....

Decor and More ~ You Name It, We've Done it Before!

3. Meet Shelly, the one with the big belly! Scarlet, how hard can it be to decorate a wee little babies room? Saphire, what about all the ideas we've all ready set in motion? Since when does the client getta have any input? The nerve! Maybe she's just stressed because she's about ready to pop!

It's Pink AND It's Blue? It's All About Two? Throw a Monkey in There Too? Oh My Goodness, Who Knew?

4. By now you know the story and our mission. Gotta get this babie's room decorated to the liking of the grumpy about to pop Shelly! Hey, she's having twins, can you blame her? Hey, her husband likes monkeys! Can she help that? Hey, its pink for one girl and blue for one boy? Like she has any control over that! Think babies, think pink, think blue, and throw a monkey in there too! Think double, think anything times two. Think decor to the liking of a grumpy about to pop Shelly. She so deserves what she wants after the last 9 months! Snort!

There is no way you can come in the back door this week as that is where Shelly is observing and supervising these two redheads! Ain't nobody fitting through the door when she's standing there and she aint about to budge! Just use your best judgement! Yikes!!!

Challenge Translation:
Bring baby cards using both pink and blue and you get extra points for having two of something on your cards. And you get extra, extra points for throwing in a monkey on your card! Yikes! And remember, these are babies we are dealing with! No flying monkeys from the Wizard of Oz unless they are really cute!!

Teapot Tuesday Destination Station #130
This week's destination is Nanaimo, B.C. Canada! We are sending our cards to the son and daughter-in-law of fellow SCSer/Teapotter Patricia (Kokirose) who just recently had twins! Little Sydney and Austin were born the very same day as Pat Smether's new grandbaby! I think it was baby time in Teapotterville! We are welcoming Patricia's new grandbabies with another Teapotter Baby shower!

For more information including the address to mail your cards to please visit Post 170 of The Teapot Tuesday Destination Station thread, should you decide to send your challenge card to the proud parents, Kyle and Carlie. Please remember that just because you participate in a Teapot Tuesday challenge that is combined with a card drive request, it does not mean that you are REQUIRED to send your cards. It is strictly voluntary.

Here is my card.

Here is the link to Austin's card that Patricia (KokiRose) made and here is the link to Sydney's card that Patricia made.

Here is a Quick Link to the Teapot Tuesday #130 Challenge Gallery .

Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT130 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!

Ever want to get a jump on next week's challenge card? I am posting a sneak peak on my blog each week showing you a glimpse of the following week's teapot as well as a hint of the story! It's at the end of the Teapot Tuesday Post each week. I usually post it a couple days after the Tuesday Challenge is posted. So, be sneaky and get a jump on the other tea-potters! Snort!

If you are confused about these challenges, see the first sticky post of this thread for more information. There is also a directory of individual challenges. Feel free to grab this I survived Teapot Tuesday Badge for your blog!

Congratulations, Pat! Twins ... oh my goodness ... double the fun. What a wonderful gift to you. Grandbabies are just the best. I dont have any baby images, but I'll see what I can do to help the new mom and dad welcome their babies in grand style.

For the next few weeks until I get use to this brutally pared down craft room I'm going to be *****in' and complainin' about how I had the perfect stamp but it's packed up in a box somewhere. I left out one stamp to cover every type of occasion and this was the one for a baby. It was pretty easy to just draw in another baby. So far I'm up to 40/2 cu ft moving boxes and I have left out enough stuff to play with for the next while. I did leave out my paints so if we have a really wacky teaparty I could always paint. Here is my "I'm Seeing Double".

I have not been a very good teapotter of late - I may have to stay in the back yard, not even come in the back door. Have been busy with trips, including a funeral, and also furnishing our new home. Right now I am off to unload (from our little trailer) the furnishings for my NEW CRAFT ROOM! At the rate we are going, we will have this home (in Casa Grande, AZ) liveable by May when we leave for Colorado LOL!

Here is my card:

I am not sure you can read it, but I got this verse for twins a long time ago - I think it was from Versalog when it had "free" verses available.

As much as I would like to make comments on this wonderful gallery, I'm not on my own computer, thus when I am logged in with my user name for long periods, it messes up this computer. I don't need Mom getting mad at me for this. So let me just say now, this is a wonderful and very cheerful gallery for the twin Grandbabies of kokirose!

So sorry to be late to the party...sure hope there are a few cookies left! Having a new puppy and a doodle who thinks she's a puppy is kinda like having two toddlers...I didn't want one dog let alone two!! The flu is still hanging on....and on...and on..but I managed to sneak into the studio for a few minutes cause babies are just tooo precious to miss.

Welcome Little Ones

I just had to stop my busy work for a moment to say thank you to everyone. I have to say this is probably one of the best groups of talented women I have been lucky enough to be a part of. Your amazingly kind words whenever I post a Teapot Tuesday card ( 2 so far) is very touching and I can't tell you how very much it means to me. You ladies are the best and I am very honored to be included in this awesome group. Thank you!

G'afternoon everyone. I want to say thank you to each and everyone of you that sent Lucy and I get well cards. Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to think of me and my dog (best friend) and thank you so much for being so giving as to take time to make and send us absolutely beautiful cards. To those of you that mentioned Lucy...I did show her the cards. Lucy says thank you too: "Barka Bark Bark...Pant Pant Pant...Lick" Ya'll probable think wow what a nut job....I'm really not...it's just I have to use humor right now. It just makes this all easier. I hope ya'll know what I mean. Thank you again for all of your beautiful cards, kind thoughts and prayers.

Cindy, thank you. I don't even know what else to say to you for being so thoughtful....your an awesome angel!!!! I will also try to get a card made for this week's challenge. I know it's late....however, if I can get it posted before Tuesday...I'm thinking...I still made it to the party. I know ya'll probably ate all the cookies tho. But that is ok..I will just sneak in Cindy's stash cookie jar. You know the one Cindy...yep she hides it on us so that she always has cookies. hehe...(((((HUGGS)))))
