Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! The Rest of the Story:
1: Whew...Gloomy Gus and Naughty Ned are determined to make this place as sad and dull as they are. They have gone around taking down all the bright posters, all the fun balloons and now they are trying to sneak in some old gray paint they found in the basement so they can paint over the fun painted walls. Walls that have 42,000 bright colored hand prints and odd shaped flowers, some with leaves and some without. Walls that SHOUT when you walk in that this is a happy place in spite of what goes on here.
2: You see, this is a therapy room and sometimes PT can be tough, it can be rough and it can even make you wanna cry. But when you have therapy in this bright, wild room you can't help but smile a little. There are pink princess crowns and gold king crowns and cats with big smiling grins and doggies lookin ready to lick your face. There are banners from the ceiling and HUGE paper flowers stuck in the weirdest places. All of this helps take the little ones mind off of the work they are doing to get better. Better so they can go home and one day play like regular boys and girls.
3: And if you are lucky enough to have therapy on the same day as the little tyke with music in her heart; you'll hear a beautiful noise all day long. She sings for the joy of singing, she sings because it helps keep her from crying and most of all; she sings because it makes other people happy. Now this little tyke with the lovely spirit is also quite fond of the color pink and she would have everything painted pink if she could get away with it. When she spied Gloomy Gus and Naughty Ned trying to sneak in that ugly ol gray paint, she started singing at the top of her lungs; "Do you know you are my Sunshine" and told them she wasn't gonna let them rain on her parade. Wheeling herself back into the therapy room, she started a chant getting all the tykes involved demanding bright sunshiney colors.
4: Rut-roh.....We're about to have a rumble in the little tykes therapy area!! We need some back-up teapotters. I just know you have bright colors and esp. hope you didn't use up all your pink last week. We need to rescue this therapy room. No ugly ol gray walls in here!! So there you have it teapotters; your mission....
Challenge Translation:
Bring bright cards, bring pink cards, bring party hats and balloons. We need to keep this place bright to celebrate a birthday for a 4 yr old music lover.(birthday on July 19)
EPEC~extra points for extra cookies:
ribbons and hair bows are always in fashion; but leave the gray gloomies at home or it's the back door for you.
