This week we’re checking in with one of our own SCSers. Jen-Miss Boo lost her father in January of this year. As most of us know from experience it can be a difficult time to put it mildly. In the first few weeks family and friends are around to lend support but months later the hurt is still there although perhaps not as intense. Jen is back making cards but the Teaparty TEAm thought we’d send her some cards to put a smile on her face.
Challenge: Make a card with a chicken on it or…some “chicks”, you know girlfriends or pals.

OMG! What a sweet and well-timed surprise in the gallery. My immediate family met at the cemetery for Dad’s birthday and bury his ashes a few days ago. I was so upset that I unintentionally made myself sick for a few days. I’m back visiting the gallery and all the adorable chickens caught my eye right away. Thank you so much for thinking of me and my family.
