Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT640 TICKLE: Open Your Eyes
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot or from the challenge theme itself? Remember, your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not a requirement. Just have fun!
It's the last Tuesday of the month so that means it's time for our Teapot Tuesday Tickle Challenge
This week's challenge is brought to you by guest hostess: JRHolbrook/aka Gracie or Judy I'm sorry, due to site issues I wasn't able to insert her avatar as I normally would, but all going well I might be able to edit this post the day after the challenge.
CHALLENGE: Hello Teapotters! 2020 has been a tough year for people all over the world. Sometimes I just want to close my eyes and pretend I'm back in time before Covid became part of our everyday vocabulary and life.
There's a quote by Canadian musician, Sara McLachlan, "There is beauty everywhere. There are amazing things happening everywhere , you just have to be able to open your eyes and witness it. Some days that's harder than others."
I challenge you to make a "Tickle" card that represents how you've felt this past year. It may be a color, a scene, an animal...there is no right or wrong for this "Tickle a Teapotter" card. You may have had happy news this year! Have fun and just do YOU!
EPEC(extra points for extra cookies): Extra cookies if your card has "eyes."
SEND CARDS TO: This week our destination is each other! Once a month, we send our cards to each other!
Check out THIS NEW THREAD in the TEApot Tuesday Extras Forum. If you are participating in the card exchange please go to this thread and follow the instructions. Make sure to sign up by bedtime on Saturday 31st October 2020. Your destination recipient will be PM'd to you.

Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT640 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
Excellent challenge, Gracie, I love images about 'see more clearly', which were my words for 2020, before all this junk started to happen. I'll be back!

As I wrote to Jean, "Thanks for sharing your world with us. I love reading everyone's stories. This challenge has helped me get to know everyone better and realize that we all have our individual struggles. My conclusion is that stampers are creative, compassionate people who can still see the beauty in a world that may not be so lovely at present."
Thank you for reflecting and sharing your beautiful cards and stories with all of us! I can't wait to see more wonderful creations! Hugs to all of you!

Is there an address database for the group here? I’ve been MIA and Jayne reminded me to play as I get back into inky fingers again!
Yay Rebekah is playing. Here’s the link where you add your name and number. Sabrina usually will send out a pm advising who you have to tickle and addresses. Have fun

It doesn't help that I haven't been able to add the guest hostesses avatar beside their name - I know it's confusing when mine appears as the poster. Again, roll on the site update!
Thanks for the FANTASTIC challenge, Gracie. I am so enjoying everyone's art reflections. Me? The TV has been on way too much for my liking and this card is definitely me.
Here is mine. Thanks for the challenge Gracie..loved it. Happy day everyone and hugs

I'm playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking and this is for my 2021 Christmas card stash.
Feelings last year during the holidays...down and very blue. Here's the story:
I think I was down, because I couldn't really look forward to seeing my family or participating in any of our usual Christmas traditions...no Christmas Eve Mass, no soup night, and no gift sharing all together at our house. My blue mood led to no Christmas card crafting. In January, I gave myself a swift kick and a New Year resolution that I make my needed 2021 Christmas cards (70) by January 31, which I accomplished! YAY!.
This my fourth design, which has a blue cardbase for my past blue mood, but a cheerful, dashing deer, while I focused on accomplishing my resolution! This card brought back a childhood memory, the traditional Christmas Eve reading by my Mom, of "The Night Before Christmas" and the clatter of prancing and dancing little hooves on the roof!
