Here is an update from her that she posted on another thread in the Need a Lift Forum....

Cindy,
I came home Monday and I've been able to sleep enough to give me energy to stamp something each day. Wahoo! I consider stamping as much a part of my therapy as the exercises I'm doing. They are very painful but have to be done so Sarah helps me get through them 3x day. I am on pain medicine that allows me to read or stamp. I can sleep and am taking naps after the smallest things. LOL Walk to the bathroom and back to bed for a nap! Each day should get better. Home health care coming to the home to check on me. I'm making progress. Thank you everyone for your prayers and cards. I have a thank you RAK set up in the RAK forum and am posting cards in my RAK gallery.
Bless you all for your encouraging ways.
Sue

Default DESTINATION STATION MMTPT102

TEAPOT TUESDAY DESTINATION STATION #102

Hi Everyone!

I received a message from Peggy (MarilynPrestonn) about the nephew of a friend of hers, Cookie (StampGroover). Cookie's nephew is a little boy, 11 years of age, battling cancer. As Peggy stated in her original thread in the Need a Lift Forum, Mark is undergoing Chemo and is looking at two years of treatment ahead! If you ask me, that's too much for an 11 year old to take on!

Thanks so much For giving Mark a reason to be excited everyday to check the mailbox! It will keep his mind off what his poor little body is experiencing.

Here is Mark's address via Cookie.

Mark Meyer
c/o Cookie Groover
2511 Calloway Drive
Orlando, Florida 32810

A great big thanks to you all!

Default Thank you Cindy

I think you are just one of the best there is to come upon on this wonderful website, and I know alot of very sweet people here that you may well know. I, as you think it is too much for any child to experience any sickness. But it's good to know alot of us feel the same way. I know we are all going to rise again and make love shine for this precious boy.

Thank you all for being so kind.

Kindly, Peggy

I so agree with you. I love the name you gave them, Splitcoast Angels. (SA)
I'm overwhelmed by the number of cards I've received from the SA. I thank God that so many women have a heart for others.
I too have sent a few cards to Mark and love the opportunity. Thank you for allowing us to do for others. Bless you.

Default TEAPOT TUESDAY DESTINATION STATION 103

TEAPOT TUESDAY DESTINATION STATION 103

Hi Everyone!

You all know CrazyKim, our New Zealand teapotter? Well her little daughter (Georgia) had surgery yesterday. She had her tonsils out and that's bad enough for a little girl but you know what makes it worse? She will miss two weeks of school and she is not your typical, love to stay home from school kinda kid! That's just crazy! Maybe she is crazy like her mom! Snort! She is very upset at missing that much school (she loves school!) not to mention being a little scared about eating with the soreness she will be experiencing! Let's send her some hearts to get her mind off her teachers, fellow school mates, school work (go figure!) and sore throat! Kim says she will be so tickled to see some hearts come over from the states, maybe Canada and Ireland too! It will make the next two weeks heart happy!

Here is the address:

GEORGIA CARTER
299 HILLSBOROUGH RD
HILLSBOROUGH
AUCKLAND 1042
NEW ZEALAND

Thanks so much everyone!

Whisper: Kim's 80 year old Aunty passed away last week. Kim, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time! If you want to mail a card to Kim you can send them both in the same envelope!

Cindy thank you for doing this for Georiga -- she has been so sore and so down. It is so hard to watch when she is such a energetic girl. I know that any cards that come her way she will love and cherish ... xxxxx

Hey, Lynda, how sweet of your mum to send out thank you notes .
It was such a lovely surprise to find her note in the mail box this morning. When you think of all the people who don't even acknowledge by PM or email, I am really touched to have got that from her.

You guys should not be thanking me! I should be thanking you!!! You are all my favorite make believe friends!!!! Tee hee! Its fun to hear about how our cards are so fun for others to receive!!!

Sabrina.....YOU are amazing.....always sending so many cards from Ireland! And we have to remember that the expense of that is so much greater than the rest of us!!!! The fact that you are willing to spend the extra to get it to the states speaks to your kindness........and Kim that goes for you too.....from New Zealand!

Well I just got in from work and my daughter came to the door with a huge smile on her face -- So nice to see as she has been so down -- I said to her what was she so happy about - and she said that she had received some really cool cards from ladies in America. So first off a HUGE thank you from Georgia and an even bigger one from me - Thank you to all the wonderful Angels that made my baby smile. She has another week off school and then hopefully back to school on the 2nd Aug. Joanne aka jojot, Elizabeth aka Iloverubber & Shelly yosam -- Shelly thank you for also enclosing a card for me. You are so kind.
I wish I new how to add a photo to this post -- but I don't so I am going to email a photo to Cindy and ask if she can add it for me. Hugs to you all xxxxxxx

Sue -- I am hoping to get a photo on here for you to see of Georgia with her cards -- I have emailed to Cindy as I have no idea how to add it to a message. She was tickled pink -- it was really nice to see her smiling again. I know that there are still a few to come from ladies that have said that they were sending cards -- so it will be so nice to see her smiling every day... hugs

Cindy -- thank you sooooooooooooo much for posting Georgia's picture for me -- when she gets more cards I will do the same -- I am hoping as each pic is taken she will look better in each on -- this is not the best pic of her as she is still looking so pale. She is having major sore ears now and her throat is also sore again too. I really did not know it would be this horrid for her.
Again thank you so much you are truely the head Angel .... xxxxxxx

Anne and Pat -- thank you for your comments -- Pat I have seen onto this wonderful mans site and will be heading back there again to read more. Hugs Kim

So, if Cindy is the Head Angel that abbreviated is HA! So in her signature line she could write, Cindy HA. That would make people wonder about her even more than they do now yes?

Default TEAPOT TUESDAY DESTINATION STATION 104

TEAPOT TUESDAY DESTINATION STATION 104

This week our destination is Akron, Ohio. We are bringing some SCS love to some young burn victims at the Akron Children's Hospital Burn Center. Bernadette (BorisValentino) has a contact there who is very excited to receive a donation of hand made cards to distribute to their young burn victims. It breaks my heart to think of little kids suffering in pain as a result of burns to their little bodies! The name of the game this week is cheering up some little kids in Ohio. Let's do our best to get some best wishes to these young kids.

Bernadette will be hand delivering our cards to the hospital Here is Bernadette's Address:

Bernadette Tolley
434 Merriman Road
Akron, Ohio 44303

Thanks so much everyone! Thank you Bernadette for giving us the opportunity to brighten some young kid's days at a difficult time in their lives!!

What a wonderful destination station this week! My heart aches for those kids who are facing such painful injuries and long recoveries. I'll put a few of my stash teapot cards in the mail... I don't think I'll be able to make any cards this week as my house is in turmoil with a remodeling project that is revealing one "surprise" after another. Ah, the joys of living in a 100+ year old house! But anyway... thanks Cindy for adding this new dimension to Teapot Tuesday. It really feels good to create for a cause!

Kim,
I'm so glad you liked the cards. I had lots of fun making them.
Thanks for letting me know you got them.

Hi Cindy and Bernadette. Should I leave
the insides blank? Will hopefully get them out in today's mail -- otherwise Tuesday as we have no Saturday service in Canada and Monday is a stat holiday. Thanks!!

Hi Laurie!

Yes, leave them blank......the hospital will be using them as they see fit for various things probably so leaving them blank will give them the opportunity to customize their use. Thank you so much for making 4! Whoo hoo! You rock! Sorry I didn't see this earlier!
