Soni! Happy Birthday! In my town, they are celebrating your birthday with a big fireworks show! Yep, it was cancelled last night....due to heavy rain and I am talkin' HEAVY rain, and a flooding warnings. So its the 4th of July here tonight, on the 5th!!
Sorry, to those whose birthdays I have missed. With this heat we've been having in our area...I haven't been on the computer as much. But Happy belated birthday so Soni, and Happy Birthday Blessed Gram24
Happy Birthday! How fun you came back from vacation just in time to celebrate your birthday with us! You and your mom's birthdays are pretty close together! I bet she is thinking hard on how to top what you did for her for her birthday! Tee Hee! You were so kind to suggest her card drive! I hope you have a wonderful, happy birthday just the same!! Eat cake! And Ice Cream!!!
Awww, thank you so much! Yes, Mudder, my mom and I are 20 yrs, 1 mo apart...so that makes this my double-nickel birthday! My DD gave me a surprise party last Saturday, and I DID eat cake! Of course I got some "funny" cards from old high school chums...the nice one said, "born in 55 thrive at 55!" This was the first birthday party for me that I can remember(?) since I was in high school...so it was quite a surprise!
And, my dear mom, Nancy, was there too! She also sends her love and thanks to all for her lovely cards...last count was 36! She is so thrilled with all of the goodness coming her way! She likes to give me the run down: 36 cards, from 4 countries, and all over the U.S.! She wanted to thank each person individually, but decided that might be a bit much for her...I'll get her to write something I can post, and I'll have to get up there to take a new photo to go along with it!
As for my birthday today...I'm havin' a great day! Hey, why don'tcha all stop by for some cake??
From THE MOST WONDERFUL TRIP TO ALASKA!! And now I'm ready to play - well actually I will be when Mom leaves to go back home to New Jersey. She was our "house sitter" because we all know that 13 & 22 year old boys DO NOT NEED A BABYSITTER! Anyway, I ready to join in the fun.
Welcome back Sandi! Rut roh, we missed your birthday wishes on the 18th but I listed your birthday in the first post so we won't do it again! You musta partied for your birthday with the grizzleys in Alaska! Woot! Did they save you some salmon? Looking forward to when you can play again, when your babysitter, I mean house sitter leaves! Giggle!
Now Judy, don't be coming to this thread, look at Sabrina's little mousey, freak out, trip over the coffee table and re-injure yourself! We gotta get you back to the teaparties! Tea Hee! Have a great day today.....eat cake....and have fun!
