Stamp n' Send Challenge#2: Color Me Thankful

We've got our next World Card Making Day Stamp n' Send Challenge for you! Has someone you know done something totally sweet for you, however, small? Did you thank them? We are challenging you to send some unexpected gratitude to someone who deserves it! To help you out, we've got a gorgeous color combination from our very own Baker's Dozen color diva, Charmaine Ikach ! You know her from her fab blog, Oodabug Alley and she's come up with a wonderful combination of colors to get you started. So, to be entered into this week's challenge prize drawing for a $10 Gift Certificate to the Taylored Expressions Store , simply follow these challenge requirements: ~Use Charmaine's Color Combination and create a THANK YOU card (Taylored Expressions stamps are NOT required, though we LOVE seeing them!) ~SEND your card to someone who is NOT expecting a thank you card ~Come back to this thread and leave a comment telling us who you sent your card to, along with a photo of your card or a link to a photo of your card It's that easy! For EVERY card you create following the challenge requirements, you will be entered into this week's prize drawing. PLUS, for EVERY entry, you will also be entered into the Grand Prize drawing for an amazing prize package worth $100! Deadline: To qualify for the Weekly Challenge prize, cards must be submitted by 11:59 pm on Friday, October 19, 2012. (Note: cards can be submitted after the prize deadline has passed in order to earn a chance to win the Grand Prize. ALL cards submitted to ANY Stamp n' Send challenge by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing. Winners will be announced on November 1, 2012. Here is my card. It is for a dear friend named Molly who means the world to me. The last card I sent her she said brought a smile to her face, so I'd like to do that again!

Here is mine that I will be sending to my in-laws. They left just a couple of days ago, but I really appreciate that they took time out of their busy schedules to come down here and visit us.
Now that I'm looking at it more, it looks like my blue is an awfully dark blue compared to the challenge. Regardless, thank you so much for the fun challenge. . .maybe I should make another and send it ya'll :D |
