I LOVE the bright colors that Amy Crockett used, her coloring was beautiful and she used some great embellishments such as: the strings on the kites, the beautiful ribbon for the water around the rock that the mermaid is sitting on, the pom-pom on the turtle's birthday hat and the banners and grass on the last card. Her cards are bright, fun and beautifully executed!
Like everyone else I had a hard time choosing a winner. I read all the comments and took a second and third look based on the comments catching things I didn't notice upon first inspection. I'm glad I read the comments, I did notice so much more detail in everyone's work. Having read and reviewed everything, I went with what appealed to me the most and that was Wendy's creations. All the cards were worthy. Excellent job finalists.
Wow I almost did not judge. I kept looking so many times at each ones work, as they are all so wonderlful, but I started a tast so thought better finish it...as hard as it was.
Cassie ..loved the colors and neat use of the dps for the sunshine and behind the neatly colored guitars.
Broni...loved the softer and elegant style, neat designs too.
kERRI... Loved the coloring, the apples and basket were awesome, and the cute little fun monsters, great job for boy and girl...jumped right at ya., plus neat gift set, something different.
Amy...Super coloring as well and especially love the mermaid, coloring and design, and the work on the grasses.
Wendy...great different styles. so many neat details and so much work. What little girl wouldn't like a little bunch of knights saving the princess...:0)
So hard... best of luck to all , but finally decided to vote for Kerri , they all jumped out so well...thanks all for the fun tour...:0)
We as people are raindrops of colorful ink , falling down Crisp and Clear, each a different shade more vibrant then the last, but once we realize at the bottom of an endless abyss we all fall into the same inkpot forming one color, only then can we come together as one My son.
This was a hard decision, but I voted for Wendy because I loved the levels of creativity in all three of her cards. The princess annd the knights was really cute, and I loved the design. Her friend card was really pretty with the flowers, and I loved the sketch and the colors. The third cards were so different but the same if that makes any sense. There was an obvious feminine and masculine and I thought the stamp choices were really cute.
I love Broni's style and that each of her cards looked different. She has a beautiful eye for detail in the little things. Colors are great too and sometimes unexpected. Just the right amount of detail without being cluttered. Great job to all!!!
You are all so amazing ladies and this was a hard choice to make. I was partial to Kerri's & Wendy's art. I chose Wendy because I love her choice of the step cards and her ability to create the themes she did on them. So sorry Kerri, as I just really loved the Apple basket and your coloring is georgeous! It is to bad that there could not be 5 winners, because you all deserve it. Hugs Lori
Wow! That was a difficult thing to do! There are 5 VERY talented women in this competition! I am amazed by all of your fabulous creations! However, I did have to pick one person and so I chose Kerri because I felt like her coloring really brought a lot of dimension and life to her cards. She also has a great eye for design and her layouts are so unique!

It's no wonder these are your top 5 - they are all fabulous but my vote goes to Wendy. I just love the extra details she put into her cards - the princess with all the knights and those two Christmas cards make her the winner in my eyes!! Gorgeous!!
Cardstock and ribbons and eyelets and brads
Stamp sets and Copics and bright-coloured pads
Mr Brown's packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favourite things
I loved each set better than the last until I got to the last one. When I saw the castle with the princess and all those knights - oh my - how adorable is that?!!! So I thought, surely the next card won't wow me. But those flowers and the color scheme...oh yeah!!! Then the last set of xmas cards in 2 color schemes - what work and imagination. I hope to create cards like these one day without having to CASE ideas from someone else. AMAZING work Wendy! Do you have a blog?
Tough call because all the cards are wonderful. I finally chose Amy because I love her style. The Friends are Like Pearls card did it for me. Of all the cards, that was the one I wish I had enough talent to CASE.
I really like all off the cards, but Cassie was my favorite. Her copic use on the Tabitha card is immaculate and I love her shading. I also loved how she was able to use a variety of colors, textures and prints on the same card, yet it still remained very clean and simple looking. Her masculine/feminine cards are basically the same card with few differences yet still manage to look uniquely one gender or the other.
It took me three days to decide! Talk about a tough decision. All are so creative and each unique in their own way. You all are winners. Loved many things about each entry but in the end my vote goes to Amy. Congratulations to each of you for such excellence in your crafting.
Kudos to all the ladies.....Although Wendy's cards were especially very artistic and beautiful indeed, I liked the simplicity, techniques and color combinations in Cassie's cards the most! Good luck to all!
