Hello-.....is anyone familiar with this horrible cancer? My mom (76 years young), was just diagnoised and has started chemo. The unknown is the scariest part. This is all so new to all of us, and I would appreciate any support or advice I can get from you. Please PM me or post here, I would love to hear from you.....
Thank you so much in advance, my heart is so heavy.

My good friend had CML (Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia) which is more rare. She had a bone marrow transplant in 1983 at Fred Hutchison Hospital in Seattle. She was younger but she's still going strong. It was a long hard time. Stay positive and be supportive. Don't let her give up hope.
