Default My nephew, Ryan Widmer needs your support

Please visit www.freeryanwidmer.com for details surrounding the murder trial of Ryan Widmer. His case was scheduled to air on Dateline NBC on July 13th but because he has been granted a new trial, the new air date is unknown.

Here's a brief description of the events.
August 2008 Ryan found his newlywed wife, Sarah deceased in the bathtub

2 days after her death he was arrested for her murder

April 2009 he was convicted of murder (The prosecution's experts gave theories as to how Sarah died, though there was no physical evidence to back up any of their theories.) The jurors conducted home experiments and reported these findings to other jurors, swaying their decision to convict him. This is just one of the many issues that created a questionable verdict.

July 2009 the judge has ruled for a retrial based on juror misconduct.[/B]

Ryan's bond has been set at $1 million cash or $2 million real estate. At this time he has been moved from the state prison to the county jail. As you can imagine we are unable to raise this kind of money and an innocent man is sitting in prison. Please visit the website and consider sending Ryan a card to keep up his spirits. There are rules though, no glitter, no embellishments etc. and you aren't allowed to discuss the case with him. The address is listed on www.freeryanwidmer.com or you can email me privately if you have additional questions astampingchicken@yahoo.com

Thank you for taking time to read my note,
Beth Null Widmer
