Arrow Stash Busters February 2015, Week 3

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Happy February! The purpose of this challenge is to use up items that have been in your stash for a long time. I will post a new layout every Monday to (hopefully) inspire you to dig out something old and get it on a page! If you dont have one of the required elements, please dont go out and buy it...the idea is to use up the old to make room for the new! Use a suitable replacement instead and have fun! Those who choose to participate and complete all the weekly challenges for the current month, will go into the Stash Buster Hall of Fame

Heres my page for week 3 and the requirements. Feel free to complete a one or two page layout .

Heres my layout:A Merry Christmas Morning
1. Create a border (on at least one page) of the oldest metallic accents youve got in your stash!
I created a border strip (using scrap paper) and used a variety of holiday eyelets Ive had since the early 2000s! You should use a minimum of 6 items but feel free to use more. These can be brads, eyelets, rivets, clips, or metallic words. You can also create a border around a photo, a journal block, or the entire page.

2. Use at least 2 different ribbons. Ive had these holiday ribbons for a number of years and Im getting tired of looking at them on my wall so, Im looking to incorporate them in my holiday layouts.

When youve completed your page(s), upload them to the gallery so we can admire your creativity. Please use this keyword in your completed layout : Copy and paste the keyword: Stash15Feb3 to make sure it gets to the right gallery.

I didn't have the exact items; however, in keeping with the spirit of stashbusters, I found satisfactory substitutes. I was pleased to be able to incorporate some embellishments I had purchased, but have not used.
