Here's an unrelated-to-stamping one. DINK. My SIL (sister-in-law), emailed me a link to a beautiful purse...which just happened to be $300. I emailed back that it was beautiful, but what a price! She then said "DINK." Double-Income-No-Kids. Aha! Those were the days!

Not an acronym (that I know of), but one I run across often when reading threads-
bump.
What does that mean?

Since threads are listed by the last one posted to it sends up to the top. If this weren't a sticky thread it would go back to the top now that we've posted to it.
So bump is just a word they type in to get it back to the top for more viewers to see.

Default LSS??

Still wondering if anyone can fill me in on "LSS". I've usually seen it used here, as in "I was at the LSS today and..." Only thing I can come up with is Local Scrapbook Store, but I doubt that is it.

Thanks!

DTP
Direct to paper, which means putting ink right to the paper and not using a stamp. Type in the three words in the gallery search and it'll bring up cards that have it listed in the description.

Not sure on the other one where did you see it, in the gallery?

I saw DTP and MCP both listed as techniques for Happy Heart's "beaded blooms" made with In Full Bloom. I tried searching other cards that had it, but I couldn't tell what it might be.
Thanks for DTP though!

In the words of Happy Heart, here is your answer:
MCP stands for Magic Colored Pencil. You color the image with artist's pencils and blend the color using odorless mineral spirits and a tightly rolled paper blending tool with a pointed end called a stump or tortillon. It's my absolutely favorite method of coloring!

I just had to know once I saw the beautiful card she created so I asked!

Thank you so much for the info! I made the card last night with watercolor pencils & the aquapainter. It is one of my favorites! I think I'll try the MCP technique...do you think it will work with SU's watercolor pencils?
Thanks again!

Help! I know RAK means random act(s) of kindness, but can someone explain what a RAK envelope is? I have seen it in various posts, but have no idea what it is.
Thanks, or I guess I should say TIA!

I think that SAM could have been refering to a SU! term...???

Demonstrators who earn the annual incentive trip or reach the executive level or above each year are assigned a Demonstrator Support agent, called a Service Account Manager (SAM), whose goal is to help them maximize their business success. Demonstrators who earn a SAM based on personal achievements have access to additional reports to help them with their business.

If this isn't right, GOOD LUCK!!!

Close to my Heart.
Here's the webstie which I'm going to have to look at myself. I hadn't heard of it before seeing it on this site.

This is HTML code (web-page language) for beginning & ending a paragraph. She probably didn't even know it was there. Just a glitch.

Your right, she had no idea it was there or what it meant but we got it figured out. I only see it in the gallery. I think we posted about it long after that post was placed but I can't remember!
Thanks for your help, we didn't know exactly what it was just that it's a glitch in the system.

No Vendor Restrictions and we just explained it about three post back from yours so back track a little and you'll find it.

Bump - all that means is bump it back to the top of the list. Anytime someone post to a thread it will go to the top of the list on that forum. No one comments and it slowly goes to the bottom and sometimes never to be seen again! LOL! - oops that means laugh out loud! or sometimes lots of luck!

Sticky - that means it will always be at the top of the list because it contains information that everyone can benefit from. Bumped threads will never get higher than those sticky post. The sticky threads are done by the talented people that run this website.
