I feel real stupid right about now....lol

As near as i can figure, NVR means 'no vendor restrictions' meaning you can use whatever products you'd like in your project (so its not restricted to stampin up only, or CTMH only).

As for 'Bump', apparently that means that somehow its 'bumping' the post up to the top of the list so it ends up being the 'newest' post on the list....but i'm not 100% sure about that.

Hope that helps,
Rose-Ellen

Question what does &quot mean?

Hi I am also new to stamping but have been navigating through this site for several months.

I have seen instructions where it will say cut 1 1/2 &quot. What does this &quot mean? I can't seem to find the acronym anywhere in the posts.

I would like to try the EEK Pencil toppers but need to be able to make sure I can follow the directions.
Can sombody help please.

Thanks so much. You all are so creative!

It's probably the computer garble for a symbol. Sometimes symbols get messed up in "translation" on computers. &quot is most likely the symbol for inches, or a quotation mark.

Does anyone have a copy of this they'd be willing to post? It's no longer available - I guess to one adopted it for bumping purposes.

Thanks!!

So CDO means Customer Direct Order, meaning you order what they want and they send you what you wanted off of their list to trade for?

Thanks,

Virtual Stamp Night and that above is a link to the forum. Check out the threads and it'll explain what it's all about. It's loads of fun of madness for an entired weekend. Next weekend is the next one starting on Friday but you'll find all the details in the link.

VSN is Virtual Stamp Night.

VSBN is Virtual Scrapbooking Night

You can find information for both of them in the forums list under challenges.

Ok I know some of these items and there uses... But I am too new at this SUD to know what all uses for the above products are. Like my order that is to show up, has the Glassy Glaze, I saw a picture of it and HAD to HAVE it... I love the look it showed. Any ideas on how to use it ????

Also, the EB does it really work???? does it help for images that you may have stamped prior to embossing??? Or do you need to leave your cs with the stamped image so that it dries and then use the buddy???? I need assistance.

For my next Club night the Ladies want to know about COLOR... how to apply it in all the different ways.

I have the folowing ideas but if you could add different ideas to the list I'd love to hear them.

MY IDEAS:
show them how to apply stamps with just color pads of ink
show them how to apply color with markers
how to apply color with water pencils (i'd show them the crayons but don't have them yet)...
How to apply color with powder embossing
how to apply color with versamark and chalk
In the course of showing the above I do have some techniques that I'd like to show them. How to add color to an edge with a stampin spot for instance...

If you can add to my list of how to add colors I'd greatly appreciate it.

Sinerely,

Leslie
