There have been so many great suggestions, maybe there should be more brackets added, like break those 1,000 posts jumps down to only be 500 each, or make all the high ones every 250 posts. Then we'd get to change more often.
That's Punkin in my avatar--my sweet little shadow--I really miss her!
Love some of the "name" suggestions.. I might borrow them and uses them on name tags for my stamp campers.. pre print the 'titles' on lower half, and then let them write their names on a 'title' of their choice.. might be a cute icebreaker!
I've been wondering why that name changes.. HA! never took the time to figure it out though, thanks for asking!
Thank you for explaining - I was wondering how I became a cardstock collector LOL. I am new to this site, as well as being a new SU demonstrator. Just trying to figure all this out and enjoying all the awsome work .................love it all!!! I am so glad to have the opportunity to be on such a great site.
I need to send this thread to my Ma. She is just now really getting into this site and doing swaps and stuff. She wanted to know how I got in under her name and list her as "Glitter Queen" when I know she hates glitter!!! I had to explain the different levels to her and to get that off her name she needs to be more active and post.
I don't think it will be long for her to become a "compulsive stamper" now .
Hello everyone. I'm new here today and I am just amazed at the gallery! I can't get my report cards done because I can't stay out of this site. I'm posting now to see it say Cardstock collector under my name and to see how to post.......here goes!
Boy, everytime I visit this site it is not only eye candy but it is eye-opening!Maybe before too long I will see the light!(Sorry, pretty corny!) I have wondered about so much for so long and am still frequently lost in here! It is great to understand 'sticky' and 'cardstock collector'. The titles are a cute way of encouraging visitors to talk to each other. There is one question that I have had on my mind (among many). What is 'bump' ? I will be back with more questions another time, but this too long already! Thanks for everyone's patience as this newbie learns the ropes!!!
Yes, it is true... another new person to the "blog" or posting world. I never posted anything before, because people can pose as anything. But this feels like a friendly place and comfortable. Let me get my cozy chair out, for I plan on visiting awhile.
I have been going some kind crafting most of my life. Tailoring, drawing, macramé, paper quilling, and now card making. I have always tried not to make my crafts look "home made". I guess you could say I was the shy crafter; but giving something I made to another person was very special. I'm sure many of you give on the reflection that you see in a special person. This can truly be a heart to heart dance of love and caring. And when the receiving person notices that feeling, boy is sure makes my heart sit on the edge of gratification & pleasure.
I sort of like to share my cards, but enjoy the other arts that are posted.
Be looking forward to hearing from all sorts of crafters.
One question, what does "not uploading on Sunday" mean? Is it the posting I am doing now? Or what?
Bev- If you look around some in the forums it explains pretty much everything and then some. It is requested that you refrain from uploading any new cards/items to your gallery on Sundays so the moderators get a day off and aren't overloaded on Monday morning.
