I just joined, boy am I confused. To much information for me to digest at the moment. I've been wondering through the site and keep finding more stuff to look at. I was wondering about the cardstock collector thing also. It's funny, because everyone who knows me, knows I'm a paper collector, so guess that fits.
My DH was watching me post one night recently and wondered what the heck a "Kookie Kreator" was. That was when I knew I'd been promoted from Matboard Maniac, not my favorite. Somebody, sorry, but I don't remember, just passed 10,000! Her moniker should be "She Who Must be Obeyed!" Oh, I'm so sorry, Pro. It was Propecia who talks too much!
I'm trying to figure this world of SCS out. I'm not a very pc orientated person. I signed up with SCS last year, but life happened.
So, a little about myself. I sell Stampin' Up! to support my habit. I work for a big wig for another partyline. She is the head of the entire Pacific Northwest and I am her administrator. SU! is an awesome release of frustration and creativity for me! It's like my own "Calgon, take me away" world.
I LOVE STAMPING! I love the new colors! I'm more into the nature and natural looking stamps. I'm jonesing over the possibilities of new leaf colors and two-step flowers. It takes a lot to get me giddy, this did it.
I'm hoping this summer to learn my way around this website. I'm cursed with not being a reader. I'm one of those who has to fumble their way through things. I'm looking forward to this new world of SU! opportunities!
Thanks for letting me be a part of it!

Just stampin' in the rain!
Hello, sister Washingtonian! Well, with the wet weather we've been having here in the PNW, it's a great time to finally get into this site more. I usually don't do much stampin' this time of year. I have to set my timer, though, or I'd be here waaaaay too long!
Welcome and have fun!
Woohoo! I made it to Glitter Queen!!

It is so funny how husbands respond to our stamping hobby. On Wednesday night I always have girlfriends over to stamp until early in the morning and before he goes to bed, he'll come stand next to me and look over my shoulder and make little comments about my cards. He said, "Oh, I think you stamped that way to close to the other one..." Bla bla bla!
When he wanted me to stamp Christmas cards for him to give out to his favorite clients we stood there and went over the layout of the cards for half an hour! He thinks he knows what looks good...
Anyway, I love stamping and I love him. I'm a happy girl.

Hi, Thanks for the info! As a newbie myself, all this info is great; I'm so happy I was turned onto this site a few weeks back; I am absolutely addicted; I couldn't resist the urge to start posting after the VSN this past weekend! I'm sure I won't be a "virtual" cardstock collector for too long with all the great things going on here!
The more time I spend at splitcoast, the less time I am actually devoting to stamping. Perhaps those folks who have the really high numbers of posts should be "Forum Fanatics" as they have no time left for stamping.
I think Princess Stampsalot would be absolutely perfect!!! and of course my son always says mom you have no life, you really need to get out more!!! and I just say well I think I do have a great life, you play ball and I play with my stamps and paper!!!!!lol
Who do we contact to make the change? I have more than the number to make the changes but still am listed as a cardstock collector. Or are we supposed to do it? And if we need to do it how do we do it? (sounds like a song!!) I am not a computer person and just learning to be a stamping person but I am liking it. Wow, you guys are great, just sent this in and now it has changed. Thanks.

Reason: change made
Hi, I thought the number of posts had something to do with the title...however, like others who have posted on this thread my title hasn't changed either and I'm up to 71 posts.
I do have a suggestion though, how about a drop down under our profile, with a long list of all the great ones listed in these threads added to the other SCS titles and let us select from the drop down based on our moods or where we see ourselves. ?????

Wouldn't you know the moment I posted to a thread versus posting about a card, my title finally changes. I wonder if that's the trick to changing our titles.

Thank you for the explaining what a cardstock collector. As someone new to the site, I didn't know what this meant. It is taking me awhile. but I am gradually beginning to learn how this site works. Maybe I'll have it figured out in about 20 years.
I guess I'm more of a lurker than a "post"er. It will take me forever to work my way up the scale. Oh well!
Thanks for all the wonderful ideas, questions, and answers! You're all wonderful! I love this site!
ROFLOL -- - just seconds ago and all this weekend it still said I was a CARDSTOCK COLLECTOR -- I post to ask and that's when it decides to change!! Don't I feel foolish??
Do posts to cards count? I've posted to a few cards, but never in a forum... maybe you need to post in a forum to change your title? I'm at #18, but still a cardstock collector... we'll see if this post changes it... I want to be a glitter queen!
Okay, before some crazy rumor starts spreading -- posting to this thread will not change your nickname, unless it just happens to be the one that takes your post count over the threshold for achieving the next title!

I'm new (to posting, not viewing all of the awesome creations on this group) Who determined the names of the different levels of posts? I'm just wondering if some of these awesome ideas can be incorporated into the current list...
Hugs,
Kim
THANKS FOR THE EXPLANATION. I SPENT QUITE A BIT OF TIME TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHERE "CARD STOCK COLLECTOR" CAME FROM. GUESS I SHOULD HAVE READ THIS FIRST!
