Everyone is so creative here! I have been checking out this site for over a year but just recently uploaded a card to enter a challenge at a friend's site. I am defintely a cardstock collector - and I am starting to use them more ever since I started stamping. It's an addicting hobby!
Your cards are so cute! You do a great job coloring! Stamping certainly is addicting, and I hope you're having fun!
ok - now i'm confused. how is it that i'm listed as a polyshrink goddess here - but in the gallery or other posts i'm still listed as a matboard maniac? just curious.

When I looked at your post in the gallery, your title read(s) Polyshrink Goddess.
If that isn't what you see, it's merely a matter of refreshing your cache, or you could just give it until tomorrow or so. You are officially a Polyshrink Goddess!

I am so happy this was posted, I spent a good hour and lots of frustration tryiny to figure out how that name appereared there. I had signed up a while ago but have just been comming on recently and thought I might have added it but forgot....lol
Thanks for the thread explaining this. I kept going back to my profile to see where I entered "cardstock collector"...complete newbie here so I was totally confused
Atleast one person a day asks about the little name under their pic so when someone suggested we make the list and explanation a sticky I thought I would do it now! LOL So, that little name, it will change as your # of posts go up! I have a long way to go to get to that point.
Welcome, Liza!
Yes .... Sometimes I think that's our little secret way of getting everyone to get 'curious' and search a bit around SCS! LOL
We're glad you're here!

Wow, this is really interesting. I've made comments about cards and have spent hours and hours gazing and gawking at all of the beautiful cards submitted for the weekly challenges, and really never paid any attenion to my "moniker." Now, however, I am wondering how on earth anyone has the time to make thousands of comments or even hundreds of replies or comments in the forums. It would probably help if I were more apt at computer skills..... not gonna happen, I'm afraid. So, after all those words, how does one accumulate so many responses or posts???????
Its actually pretty easy to do Mrs O! If you get involved with swaps or techniques or product reviews it's just like carrying on a conversation about something several people love! I work and go to school and run a home-based business besides family obligations. Yet I have found the time since joining to accumulate thousands of posts. You meet people here who love crafting as much as you do, and then you can talk about it for hours! I'm involved in several swaps, so much of my conversations revolve around those. It can be time consuming and when school/school is going on, I have far less time, but I make the time to visit! Check out some of the forums, get involved with "conversations" meet some people here. you will not be sorry, I guarantee!

When I first started, I did not post very often. I lerked around and looked at everyones cards but did not make many comments. At some point early in the process, I too saw the "title" under my name and wondered where it came from and how do I change it! Spent a lot of time trying to figure it out.
Finally gave up trying to figure it out. After a while I posted enough so that it changed and POW, I figured it out.

I noticed the location....a big "Howdy" right back at ya. Maybe you can point me in the right direction to stamp shop around North Texas. Are there any good stores that you find carry a wide variety of supplies. It seems like all the Scrapbook stores have all closed down and the typical Hobby/Craft stores just don't seem to cut it...
Hello everyone! I know exactly what you mean, I have 2 five drawer units side by side filled with paper, ribbon, glitter, ect., and containers filled with stamps on the top of them. Every time I open a drawer, I have to hold on to the top things, as the units are leaning and I am afraid they will fall! Lol.
