Bahaha, I'm new to the site, but am on other boards (not related to scrapping) and knew that the titles change with posts.. anyway, I looked and saw "cardstock collector" under my name and really thought that somehow the admins know that I'm a freak that doesn't throw anything away!! I have sooo much cardstock that I'm never going to use, but when I go to the local store I really think I need to buy more! Usually when I get home I realize that I really didn't need more of all the same colors I've already got!! ADDICT!
This is not the right place to post this question. I have gotten frustrated trying to change my avatar picture and the new one doesn't come up. Where do I post this question, or maybe one of you computer literate people could give me a clue.
Kim,
I have no way to know what the previous avatar looked like. I see a pic of you with a dog. Updates are not necessarily seen instantly. Also, it's possible that if we're seeing the new avatar and you are not, you may need to clear your cache.

Texas Grammy, thank you for your help. It's not working right yet. My old avatar was just my dog (black and white Shih Tzu). When I look in my gallery, or look at the picture that comes up when I post, it is still my old avatar. When I post here in a forum it is my new picture or avatar. I rebooted my computer, but no change. Maybe it does take a while to change in the gallery, but not sure why. Thanks for trying to help! Kim
Hi Kim,
I'm seeing your 'new' avatar in your gallery as well. If you aren't seeing it yet, it's the cache issue. If you would like more info, just let me know.

i'm finially starting to understand the title thing but what i don't understand is why the picture next to my name is different when i post out here than when i post in a gallery . . . help?
Thanks for the explanation. I love to read everyone's responses. And I especially the love the one about her husband looking over her shoulder saying we need a life. Well stamping is a life. It brings joy to us and a smile to the recievers of our cards
Hehehe! SCS sure has a sense of humor. When I joined, I figured SCS knew I was hoarding my cardstock. Then I made a few post and then I posted a card in my gallery, my name magically changed. I thought it had to do with the amount of cards in your gallery.
Okay...so now that I've found and read this thread, I now have a better undestanding of the little given nickname but I went and checked mine and under my Avatar, it says that I'm still a Cardstock Collector although I have over 100 posts...shouldn't it have changed by now or do I have to go somewhere and change it myself?

Posting comments in the gallery does add up total posts, but it usually changes titles after making a post in the forums, just as you did now.
