Default I am new to this so Hello everyone!!!!

Hello everyone!! There are somany wonderful ideas in here. I am still trying to figure out how to use a forum. So I am still a little confused even after reading several times how this forum works so bear (ha ha)with me.

I am getting started on being a demo for SU. I have been apart of clubs and stampin for awhile now and love it.

I am a step- mom to a 13 almost 14 year old and have a wonderful relationship to my wonderful husband. I am 25 and love being apart of my step-daughters life. Boy do things get hectic at times. So there is my introduction I hope that helps everyone to get to know me. Have a great day everyone!!

Thank you for all the great ideas again and I hope to learn more!!!

Red face No Gallery on this site anymore?

The last time I visited this site, there were hundreds, maybe thousands, of beautiful cards in the gallery - now, no such place exists as of today - what's up? Is this strictly a chat site now? That's fine, too, but was looking forward to seeing what everyone out there is doing.
Sorry no photos - or the site looks so different - maybe I'm missing it. If so, could someone let me know? It was such a great resource! And it was fun to see the work of folks I know. . . Missin you!

Question sandie c

Please help me as I have been unable to see any pictures (just a blank page) when I click onto a card when viewing the gallery. Also, when I have tried to read other messages, I get another blank. What am I doing wrong?? I had been able to click on a card to view earlier today and see it but since I have come back on line I have had trouble viewing anything.

Question Please help me - I cannot find my thread!

I posted a new thread yesterday looking for help in determining a name for my class. Can threads get moved? I thought I posted it in General Stamping but I have spent a considerable amount of time this morning trying to find it. Can you help me find it and is there a way to see alll the threads I have started, no matter which forum? As you might guess, I am fairly new to this site...

Thank you.

The title (ie Cardstock Collector) will change automatically when you hit a certain number of posts. You can find out how many posts you have made and how many threads you have started by clicking on your name. This will take you to your personal profile and you can select posts or threads you started.

Yes. They can, and do, get moved. If you want to always be able to find all the threads you start, or all posts you have made, click on your name. Select "view public profile" from the list. On the left, under your signature, you will see some options that include "Find all posts by *user name*" and "Find all threads by *user name*". That will pull up either every post you have made or every thread you have started depending on which option you choose.

Hope this helps!

Please tell me, what's a 'hobby demo?' Does that mean I could buy even more SU stuff if I was one of those? Oh, yeah...I'm hooked!

Default New Member with a question. :)

Good day to everyone! I am still learning how to navigate this site... so many wonderful things to see!

I was hoping that I could obtain some great ideas for decorating wedding favors. My eldest daughter is getting married next September. We are using pillow boxes to hold a small 3x3 frame with a picture of her and her hubby to be. I thought of using a jumbo or standard wheel... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Smile SORTA NEW

I've been taking advantage of viewing all of the fabulous cards that folks upload for a while now and thought it was time I joined the Fan Club (because I sure am a fan of Splitcoaststampers!!)

My name is Mardy. My DH and I live in Tacoma, Washington. We have 3 grown children, 2 in Washington & 1 in Nevada. We also have 5 grandchildren, which are the loves of my life! I would have had grandchildren first, if that were possible. They give me such joy!!

I've been a stamper for about 15 years and am officially a "pusher". I started out as just a "user", but soon started convincing others to take up the hobby because it is soooo much fun. This hobby is like a drug (ha, ha).

I started out by attending a D.O.T.S. home party and moved on the Stampin' Up about 10 years ago. I now have more stamps and accessories than can fit in one room, but I always find a nitch somewhere for more stamps and stuff (who can relate to this?).

Thank you Dirty Dozen, and all of the other contributors, for all of your efforts! I truely admire your creativity!

Hi This is my first time to post. I've been enjoying the site for a couple of months. The cards are beautiful. I've been stamping and scrapbooking for two years and a SU Demo for 4 months and loving it. This site is great!!! So many great ideas and techniques. I'm in the west Tennessee area and would love to hear from other stampers near and far. Looking forward to spending a lot of time here.

I am so excited! My daughter just became a demo and I just had a party. I should be getting my "stuff" today! I am ready to start my new obsession. I have made cards on the computer for several years - but this is so much more fun. I am a grandma and my grandkids call me Graham Cracker - just to be silly. I am looking forward to reading and chatting.

Hi! I'm also new to this site. I got a new computer for christmas, and have been on SCS every day since. Hours each day. I never get to bed before 2-3 in the morning. I have been stamping and scrapbooking for about 4 years. My one daughter just became a SU demonstrater. Anyway, a little about myself. I will be 69 on April 1st. I have been married for 48 years to my DH. We live in western ky. We have 2 daughters. We have 3 grandchildren. They are 24, 22, and 2. The 2 year old is a brother to the 24 year old. The 24 year old and her husband have a 5 year old, and a 2 month old. I have to stay young to keep up with them. The 24, 22, and 2 year old call me grandmama, and the 2 year old calls me Bobo. Hence my name for this site. I love reading what you post. Now all I need to do is find time to stamp using everything I"ve learned from this site. Bye for now. Grandmama Bobo.
