Thanks
Nancy
I love this site. I am new to this whole thing and can't wait to find out how everything works. I love scrapbooking and stamping, however finding time to actually sit down is another story. Can't wait to meet some of you and share ideas.
Hello! My SU demonstrator linked me to this fantastic site! Where has it been all of my stamping life? The galleries are so inspirational--WOW! I tried to become a registered user...to no avail---then tried to contact the webmaster...to no avail, no longer a mailbox. So inspite all the tries, and the popups saying my username was invalid, etc., etc., Here I Am posting a reply....is there a waiting period? Do you have to be a registered user?

Welcome! A thread is the individual "conversations". For example, this "Start Here!" is called a thread. A thread includes the original post and all the responses to the original post.
Hi I am also new. I registered a while back, but now I would like to change my user name and update my profile? How can I put in a picture to the left? Thanks for any help.

I am new also and I an still trying to figure this out. I had a friend post for me to do a paint can because I was not sure what to do but I think I may have it fugured out now. So far I LOVE this site. It is so cool.
How do you change your user name? I need a more clever name, I have seen some really good ones so far.
I am a newbie. This is an awesome site. It will take me a while to navigate my way around...
I placed a request in the RAK group for 'Stamp Out Fat'...I did manage to get that in the right place. |
I also want to join the RAK group but don't know who to contact to help me join the RAK list.
Thanks for your help

I don't know if some of you have been answered in PMs or not-so here is just a blanket post to get some general answers. There is also a forum called Site Suggestions if you need a more detailed answer (but I hope this helps ).
Can't post a reply? Double check the upper right corner of your screen. Does it say "Welcome, *your screen name here*"? If not, you need to log in. Make sure you click the box for keeping you automatically logged in.
Want to join a User Group? Go into User CP (It's on the top blue bar on the far left), then down to Group Memberships. You will get a list of groups you can join, like the Divine Secret Sisterhood, SU! Demo forums, etc. Click on subscribe and you will be sent instructions.
Want to change your signature line or add an avatar? Again-go to User CP. The top of the list on the left will take you to 'Edit your signature' or 'Edit your avatar'. You can edit your public profile there as well.

I am not finding link to "view posts since last visit" anywhere on the main forums index. Is there somewhere that I need to do a set up?
I'm new to any kind of forums like this and I keep trying to learn more each day. Navigation is getting a bit easier but I still haven't found any instructions on posting a link in a thread (to a gallery card). Where should I look??
Sandy
I have moved three times in the last five years. There are pros and cons to moving so often. The pro..... I have clean closets! The con I leave my stampin friends.
We currently moved to Southern Wisconsin just south of Madison.
I was wondering if there are any stampers that live in Southern Wisconsin. I would love to get a group of stampers together just to make cards or scrapbook together.
OR
Do you have group going that I can join?
(This is way out of my comfort zone. But I'm trying something new!)

Scrapbooking, Artist of sorts, outdoors person, crafts Person, Builder by Trade/Supt., draftsman, rather be at my place in central Louisiana than Canton, Ohio. This looks interesting, Thanks for sharing. Too much to see in one day. ha ha ha
I am wandering around in here and finding it fun, interesting, and new. I am new here, obviously, am a teacher, paint, bind and repair books, make and bind novel books, and of course stamp and scrap! and have lots of fun doing it, too!
Is anyone interested in joining with me in exploring ways to make novel books, some of which would substitute for a card or go in a scrapbook? Please contact me at jansapp007@msn.com if you are; we can work together and have fun and learn at the same time!
