These are the steps for creating an avatar. Is this the process you followed?

1. Crop one of your favorite pics to a maximum of 80 pixels X 80 pixels. The closer to an exact square, the more accurately it will appear.
2. Save that in jpeg format on your computer.
3. Click on your name at the top of this screen.
4. Left column - Click on 'Edit Avatar'.
5. Use the 'browse' from your own computer to upload your 80x80 pic.
6. Voila! Your avatar will now appear on all of your previous posts as well as your new posts.

Default Pop-Up Tutorial

Thanks again for the help! I tried the pop-up card again over the weekend and with sturdier cardstock (Stampin'Up!) the card stayed up on its own. this may be the one I use for my Christmas cards!!!!!! Yeah!!! AW

Lynda,

Welcome aboard, I am still new to. I have been too busy this summer with my business to do anything with this site, but after football season things will slow down for me and I can breathe. My advise is if you need anything contact Texas Grammy, she is great!! I have never met her but she has helped me already.

Hi Lynda,
When you click on your user name at the top of any page (orange lettering), you'll find your Control Panel on the left of the new screen. I would check my 'Options" area. In the 'Messaging & Notification' area, check to see if the 'Default Thread Description Mode' is set on 'Instant email notification'.

Hoping this will help!

And thanks for your kind compliment, Hebers0621.

Default I am new here and google led me to this site?

Hi, I would appreciate it very much if someone could advise if I am at the correct forum?
To me it does not appear so. I was wanting to find out information on the software "Polaroid My Memories Suite" as a Photo Slide show program.
I have been exploring various apps for sometime and came across this one in my googling and am looking for a user of this App for Photo Slide Shows?
BTW, this forum name came up when I was searching for more information about this program, like a Forum.

All comments appreciated.
Thank you for your time.

Hello and welcome, Sandy. Here's a thread that discusses that program, although it probably doesn't answer your specific question. It's in the Digiscrapping forum: My Memories Suite

Hi there! I couldn't find the thread (there used to be one) but I hope this helps!

Copy the URL for your desired thread then ...

Click the down arrow to the right of Quick Links

Select edit signature

Position cursor where you want the signature/link to appear

Type whatever you want it to be called

Highlight your signature. Change color and/or font now.

Click the globe/chain link icon and paste the URL into the field (be sure to paste over everything else that might be there)

Preview your signature and check that the link works

Prayer requests fit into our "Need a Lift" forum. You can either 'Reply' to a post, or create a new thread. For example, to post your question here, you used "Reply". At the top of all listed threads in a forum, you'll find "New Thread" ... that will enable you to start your own thread.

HTH!

Hi can any one help??

Hi to all my friends out there on SCS. I find myself being very uncreative right now. a very close frind of mine lost her only child (son 22) to a fatal stabbing and is asking for Thank you cards and since I'm still in shock I'm drawing a blank. I've managed 6 of the 20 she has asked for and have checked the gallery with not much luck. I need something that it fast and fairly easy so any ideas would be most helpful. I love this site and it has always helped in the past. Thank you ahead of time for any help any of you can give. It will b most appreciated.

Hi, I am just joining tonight. I love your verse from scripture. Most of my stamping is a ministry to missionaries. I love it. They ask me to do it and I have probably done at least a 1000 cards for them.

Hello Annette,
Perhaps a search in our Gallery (click the link at the very top of this page) will help. A few suggested search words that might be helpful could include: quick - easy - thank you ... try them one at a time. Hopefully, you'll come up with a sketch that seems to fit your needs. Best wishes on your helpful endeavor.

At the top right of the main forum index, look for the link that says View posts since your last visit. This will do just what it says - give you a list of all the new forum posts since the last time you logged on. Try it!

Something else to try. Normally, next to forum categories you'll see a little icon (shown below). When you log on to the forums, and you see an orange version, that means there are new postings in that forum category. Neat, huh?

The reference to "View posts since your last visit" was posted years ago at the start of this thread, back in 2003. The forums have changed quite a bit since then. The closest current feature that I know of is the "New Posts" link. You'll find it at the top of forum pages, near Search and Quick Links. "New Posts" will give you the most recent 300 posts to all open forums.

When you visit a specific forum, you've probably already figured out that the threads that have new posts since your last visit will show a small green triangle before the thread titles. Clicking on one of those green triangles will go directly to the first new post in that thread since your last visit to that forum.

It's usually not possible to change your user name, but accidentally signing up with your real name or real email address are exceptions to that rule. Send an email to help@splitcoaststampers.com . Include your current user name as well as a couple of suggestions for your new name, in case your first choice isn't available. One of the SCS admins should be able to change it for you.

That's only the tip of the iceberg. I'm a great grandma and need to retire so I can play with all that paper!! I am a novice at Adobe Elements which is driving me around the bend. I'd rather do it by hand after I edit the photos if need be. Now I'm going to stamp borders on my pages since I've learned some new ways to do that. I've even discovered how to stamp my own paper backgrounds and I love that! Also use stamps in school ( I'm part time ) with my first grade math group. Stamps are wonderful for teaching addition as well as putting some fun into the math. ( We're short on fun since no child left behind. )

Hello,
I am a newbie here. I was soooo tired last night when filling out my username form that I forgot a letter! Ugh...I want it to say stampspiration not stampsiration. Such an odd thing I'm sure, but I was wondering if there is a way to fix it? I'm a SU Demo and I love to stamp and scrapbook. I'm a SAHM to 5 blessings! I love the galleries here and saw there is a SU only area too. I'm new to SU and new to SCS tho I've looked at gallery photos off and on for over a year. Thank you to anyone who may be able to help with my missing "p" .
