New ... again!

Hi everyone! My name is Melissa (webzmacs) and I recently relocated to central Florida from Kansas City. I haven't crafted in a long, long time and had really lost the zest for it until something remarkable happened ... and it happened here at SCS!

My cousin, Wendy has been sick and our family has been trying to send her things to keep her spirits up. Then I remembered that when I was in the hospital several years ago, my friend, Alicia hosted a card flood for me. I hesitated to ask for help here because I had been so inactive. I did it anyway and here are things I realized ...

1. SCS is one of the most giving group of crafters I know.
2. I have been missing out on building friendship with everyone here.
3. My blog missed me!
4. I'm back and never leaving again!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the card flood. My cousin has received more than 50 cards and she says she feels so blessed. That makes two of us and I'm happy to be back!!!

PS ... I actually made 2 Valentine's Day cards. Now I can't wait to get my craft room organized so I can really go crazy!

Hope your cousin Wendy is doing well.

As for the crafting, sometimes you just got to have a break from it all but once a crafter always a crafter. So get your craft room organized and lets get crafting.

I'm new to SCS...have been a crafter for over 30 years.....but trying to get back into rubber stamping....I really want to love it...and I know my stamps I've hoarded really want me to love it!!! So it's so nice to hear what a wonderful community this is!!!!
