Hello everyone. I almost felt I should say G'day but it's just too cheesy. I am 46, married with an eight year old son, living very happily in Brisbane, Australia, the most fantastic country on earth. I love SU but am not a demo. Always struggle to find time to craft. Have always been crafty since childhood but fell back in love with paper a few years ago. Love to do 3D and off the page projects, and love to make origami things with gorgeous paper. Occasionally sew but so little time.... When not working, we love camping, going to the beach, snorkelling, bushwalking, riding bikes - generally being outside and away from civilisation!! Sitting on the back deck sipping a G&T is pretty good too!

Hi there and welcome! I LOVE Brisbane so much - I felt completely at home there. I wish I could import your flying foxes here. So cute.
Anyway - welcome to Splitcoast! Please let me know if I can help you with anything on the site and check out the links in my signature for some fun things to do here.
Thank-you so much Lydia.
You can have our flying foxes if you want!! I don't mind them really but they are carriers of Hendra virus and Lyssa virus so lots of people (esp horse people) don't like them. Poor things. Not really their fault. Off to check out your links, thanks!

Hi and welcome from across the ditch! I'm in Auckland and love stamping and other paper crafts. Would you believe I am drinking a G&T as I type this? You are my kind of gal!
Stephanie

Cool! I've got a few things to get done before I hit the G&Ts but won't be too far behind you! Thanks for the greetings! There are lots of talented papercrafters in NZ so looking forward to seeing all your work! (and CASEing your ideas!). and BTW I can relate to your quotation - I'm a bit of a control freak in rehab, trying to realise that not having total order is sometimes ok!! lol.

G'day and welcome to SCS. There are a bunch of Queenslanders here including several from Brisbane. I live out in the Lockyer Valley so I'm not that far away, and I love being outdoors too. I've been know to take my paper crafting outside with me when I've been pressed for time. Having a trayback ute is so handy for times like those.

Well, I will say hello and welcome from the state of Oklahoma, right smack dab in the middle of the US. Love all you Aussies and Brits. I read a lot, and you have a lot of talented mystery writers that I love. Reading the books makes me almost feel like I've been there.
