Wow! How long do you have? I could write a book! There are challenges you can participate in, swaps to create and swap cards, lots of inspiration in the gallery but most importantly, I have made some totally awesome friends! Generosity and kindness abounds, as well! Welcome!

Hi and welcome to SCS. I've been here for years and years.....

But when I was new I especially liked to go to the General Stamping Talk forum and the Tool and Product Talk forums and read what everyone had to say. I learned a lot about cardmaking in general, and what tools and products everyone liked to use.

I also recommend going through the Gallery to check out all the marvelous creations that members have uploaded.

If you have any questions, just click on new thread at the top of the forum you're in and ask away. Someone will be sure to have the answer for you.

Have fun exploring!

Welcome!
I hope you share your creations in the gallery we would love to see them!
There is so much to see and do here! There are tutorials for tons of fabulous techniques. You can find those under the tutorials tab.
In the gallery you can see thousands of projects, there is a place for everything! There is also a subscription gallery where a select group of crafters provide new inspiration each month. You can click fan club to clearness more about that.
There is also a swappers forum you can join to connect and swap the things you make, it's so fun!
Hope to see you more!

Hi and welcome from New Zealand! I have been here for a few years and love seeing the cards other people make. I also find this an excelent site for answering all card/stamp/embellisment related questions. Take your time and have fun exploring the forum but if you get lost, do ask. We all like helping newbies!

Hello and welcome! Spend a little time looking around, read a few threads, take a look in the gallery and at the tutorials (you'll find links for. Oth of those sections at top right of your screen) and then ask away if you have questions about anything you see or any aspect of your own card making as you explore your new hobby.

Folk here are friendly and helpful and at all levels of experience and expertise so you'll most likely find someone who can answer anything you care to ask!

Default Faux Stitching!

You are so sweet Kimz! The stitching is engraved when I cut cardstock using my Big Shot machine and the stitched dies that I own from Lawn Fawn. I love those little things! Different companies offer die cuts with different stitching patterns. It's a neat technique!
