Hi Annie & welcome!!!

Maybe the best place to start is by copying a card you like in the gallery - that always helps me! Take what you like and incorporate it into your card and before you know it you'll be off to the races

Go visit our General Stamping Talk forum for lots of great ideas, and please sign up for our Weekly Inkling newsletter (left side of this screen) and visit our Tutorials section (link at top right) for oodles of tutorials and techniques.

Let me know if I can help you with anything!

Hi and welcome from New Zealand! Yes, do get inspiration from cards in the gallery. I also get card-making books from the library and I subscribe to a stamping/papercraft magazine. Don't feel like you have to come up with an original card. It is perfectly okay to copy all or part of a card you like. I still do this! After a while you will recognise what images and colours appeal to you which will help you develop your own style.
