Wink A late hello

Hi from beautiful İstanbul,Turkey.I am here for several months but just now realized this page.It is really a big chance to be here and to share our crafts and lives with the world.Btw,I apologize for my English.
I want to ask some questions to you.Are you also a big hoarder like me?And how do you keep your scraps?
Is organizing a problem for you? When I browse organizing tips on web,I find only similar advices and excellent craft room photos.Nobody tells how to keep broken toy parts,0.5 inch paper scraps, tiny fabric pieces etc, etc.Do you also have such problems or am I the one?
Waiting for your replies.Have a perfect day.

Hi Minnur! Welcome to Splitcoast - we are happy to have you here! Your English is great!

I think all crafter'a are hoarders . A few years ago I started throwing away any paper scraps smaller than 1/4 sheet of cardstock and that's really helped. If you click the link to my blog in my signature the first post has a video of my recent remodel - I got rid of a LOT!!

Welcome again and please let me know if you need anything on the site.

Welcome Minnur!!

Yep we all have hoarding issues and I'm hoping when we get moved that I actually have a better organized area. I'm excited about giving a new area a try.

I have a file drawer with hanging folders for larger scraps. I do it by colors. For smaller scraps, I use zip type bags sort it by colors and put the bags in a plastic tub. I wished that I had the power to not keep scraps but they honestly come in really handy.

Anyway. Your English is fine. Have a great time and enjoy SCS and everyone here. You'll get a lot of inspiration here.

BTW Lydia, I didn't see your signature on this post. Just giving you a heads up.

Hi Minnur and welcome from New Zealand! I store small scraps like Denverkat, in zip-lock bags sorted by colour. I do the same with short lengths of ribbon, in bags by colour. Your English is excellent by the way!

Welcome, Minnur, and I agree - your English is perfectly fine! It's sure better than my Turkish! I agree with Lydia about our being hoarders - haha! I hope you'll consider joining a weekly challenge, and I know you will be encouraged and find inspiration. And no one will worry about your English. We are delighted you've joined us! Hugs!
