Hi my name is Elisabeth and I'm from the Netherlands.
I love to craft, and making cards is my thing, although I also do enjoy making other crafts. As long as I'm in my craft room I'm a happy camper, you could lock the door and you wont see me for weeks (I wish, could someone please lock me up ).
Splitcoaststampers has always been one a my sources to go for anything craft related but I never thought of joining "the club" until today.
Looking forward to meeting other crafters and sharing my projects with you.

In the Netherlands we have a place called Zeeland, I guess it's the OLD Zealand :p
You are right: who needs the rest of the world apart from the craft suppliers!
Where would we be without the suppliers....I guess I wouldn't have a craft room without all the supplies we crafters NEED. And to think of long ago I started with a paper pad, some glue and a pair of scissors, those supplies could fit in just about a shoe box and now I'm upgraded to a WHOLE room just to get all the stuff in.

Hi Elisabeth - oh, from what modest beginnings did your craft room grow! Mine too. I even have four different types of black ink pad now! Yes, our country was named by Dutch cartographers after your provence of Zeeland. Isn't that a nice connection!

The Australian accent is my favourite!
Well anything from down under has a sweet spot with me, guess it's because as a child, many many years ago, I lived for several years in Australia. My parents did the immigration thing but returned to the Netherlands after 4 years.
One day I hope to return.
As for seeing my cards here on SCS, I'm working on it ... I'm not the best photographer and there are times my cards are already out the door and then I realize I forgot to take a picture.
But from now on I'll do my best.
There are a few wandering about in my laptop, I'm trying to get them uploaded asap.
