Default Hi from the Funny Farm!

Hi everyone, I actually joined a year ago but am just now looking around and seeing all the fun stuff!

I've been a crafter for years and years - back in the 80's and early 90's I belonged to a crazy group called Pals (Print Artist Lovers) I'm sure a lot of you are here now. This was back in the day when we were lucky to find card stock in any color other than white or beige. Yes I'm dating myself but what evs.

I went through a 2 year cricut frenzie where I had to have every machine and every cartridge. Then I sold most of the cartridges and machines and got a Cameo & Pazzles. And even tho I swore on everything that I would never own a stamp/marker I now have a gamillion of them and still can't stamp worth a hoot.

That's why I'm here now - one of my 2013 failures..... I mean goals is to learn some techniques and use the stuff I have to make pretty things.

I have 3 kids, all in their 20's, 2 of which are going to make me a grandmother this year for the very first time. The Boy child is joining the USAF and the hubby is the most wonderful enabler and support system! I adore him. My career is in Hotel Management but I am taking care of my 78yo mom who has moderate Parkinsons. It's rare I can sit at the craft desk for an hour without getting up to help her with one task or another. I'm blessed to have this opportunity but it sure can be a challenge.

I'm not new to forums, crafting, shopping for supplies or gluing my fingers together. I am new to stamping and looking forward to being active here (I am a babbler, I go on and on about nothing. You have been warned)

hugs!

Hi Tangee,

Tangee welcome to the boards and I am sure you will learn new techniques on this board as the stampers on here are incredibly gifted. Where are you in Maryland. I started out outside and Ft. Meade and graduated from a school in Harford County.
