When you log on to you SCS account, at the VERY TOP of the page is a little envelope icon (to the right of welcome, {your username}). If you have a message, it will be colored (mine is orange...not sure if it's the same for everyone) and a number. Click on that and you can check out your inbox or sent messages. After you click out of messages, that envelope icon will be gray with the number zero to the right of it.
