Is Dexter on Netflix? I haven't looked yet...maybe hubs would appreciate me watching something else then my murder forensic stuff while I craft, lol. Everytime he comes in my room he always asks (jokingly), "more tips on how to do away with me, eh?" lol.
DeeAnn, hope your migraine is better...I'm a sufferer too=( I know your pain. Hope your hubs is better too!
Dexter is on Netflix. DH & I started watching it. We couldn't really get into it. I think because at the time we were watching it we just finished watching 24. We are 24 junkies. I think we had too much of 24 still on our mind to get into a forensic murder show. Every time I see Dexter I just want to see Grissom get a hold of him. I know he could thwart Dexter, lol. It's a really good show. I will probably try it again sometime.

Ohhhh Dexter is a forensic murder show??? Sounds right up my alley, haha!

I have been using my spare room bed as a closet/dresser. I am determined to put up all those clothes today! Hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday.

It was a relaxing Sunday. Curled up with Primeval Season 4&5. I love dinosaurs. I was so excited when the new seasons of Primeval came out. I love that show.
Organizing my craft projects so I can start some new art journaling and crochet projects. Wrote down a list for how I want to design my new computer.
Today at work I'm trying to figure out how much stuff I can get done this week and how much instruction I need to leave for my co-worker for when I'm off next week. Somehow Friday always hits with loose ends still lingering and you realize that time is up and everyone is just going to have to make it work. We'll see how it all goes.

I got my Silhouette Cameo in yesterday. I was worried it wouldn't get delivered since we had bad weather. UPS stuck it in the garage for me. It was a nice quiet day of playing in the craft room.

Poured my second cup of coffee at 11:00 a.m. and flicked on the tele to catch the CNN news. The memorial service for Whitney Houston was on. I thought "Well, I'll watch for a few minutes while I have my coffee"......five hours later.....I can't believe I sat and watched the whole thing. It was moving. It was beautiful. I laughed. I cried. I'm glad I watched it all.
Now onto laundry. I am waaaaayyyy behind my Saturday routine.

I basically sleep all day today. What a waste! Lol. I did manage to decorate my composition book for Letter Love 101. Got some wash going.... Now on to cooking dinner.

I'm letting a friend host a Pampered Chef party at my house=) Getting some laundry done and getting back to a card order for my friend who's a Pampered Chef Consultant (she'll actually be doing the party for my friend that I'm lending my house to, lol). I'll be doing all the cards the same lay out just different color schemes. Next one is blue and yellow, all with Lulu's Two Pies.

No and no! Lol. It's gotta happen this weekend! Today was my Friday. I thinking about some retail therapy at the Houston galleria. It is now my closest Eddie Bauer store and tomorrow they are having a 30% off sale. I think I need a pair of their boyfriend jeans and check out their spring line.

I am going to enjoy a peaceful weekend with NO house guest..invited or otherwise . Last weekend my in-laws decided to bring my husbands 4 yo nephew and 22 MONTH old niece with them ( they were bringing his other two kids for a visit) WITHOUT asking us or even TELLING us. We found out the morning they were driving down. Nice huh? Even better someone in that posse brought the most horrific stomach funk I have ever had. OMG I thought I would DIE. It started Monday night and I JUST THIS MORNING feel human again. I am having the FIRST cup of coffee I have had since Monday morning. Plus two of the kdis got it..so far no one else. We just had a stomach bug..not more than a month ago?! WTH? Needless to say with 6 extra people..in a house with 6 people already..and 8 of them small people..I am shocked everyone isn't down with that. It was lethal. My poor 7 yo dd threw up so fast and violently she said she "got dizzied" from it.. Poor kid.
And now that i have succeefully bleached and pine soled everything in this house that would stand still and ran down what was moving..today I am going to clean in my studio. I ahve a few new toys on their way and need a place to put them ..
I hope everyone is having a good friday! I know I am LOVING it ( everyone is gone form the house but me for the first time in a WEEK!...
put the lime in the coconut...
There is nothing worse than a stomach bug... Glad you are feeling better! You must tell....what new toys did you get?
I had a nice Friday off. Ended up shopping a little at the Galleria. Got a shirt at Eddie Bauer. Hubby doesn't know it yet, but he bought me a key necklace from Tiffany's ! Lol. Brought home a slice of red velvet cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. Now just chillin watching Bering Sea Gold.

InkinOne- I would have been so friggin' mad. I would have said hotel. Actually my DH would have said that, lol. We had to put our foot down to unexpected company.
I am glad your feeling better. My poor DH got that bug. He was so sick.
Tell us what new toys you got.
llevans- That is so sweet of your DH to buy you a Tiffany's key necklace. I have been lusting after those necklaces. They are beautiful.
Nothing going on this weekend. DH & I are so tired from the stress of the last two months all we want to do is run errands, come home, play games or watch Netflix.
My DH was the shopper today. He bought a lot of new art supplies. I bought a pen, lol.
This weekend, I am getting my beeswax out to work on a project. Then I have movies and tv to catch up on, in my studio. That means I gotta do crafty stuff while I am sitting there. Lol. But this morning I am going to a movie and seeing the new Tyler Perry one, called Good Deed. Then a little grocery shopping and then home again for the rest of the weekend. If I don't have to go out..I don't! Gonna make a big old mess all by my self.
Thanks Ladies. I am feeling MUCH better today!
A hotel was not an option..they were going to get one when they found out we were upset about not being told they were bringing extra kids ( because it was OUR fault for being a little upset..our fault ..not theirs for NOT telling HAHA)(..but thankfully they did end up staying here( think family war of mass proportions if they had not stayed here) It ended up being ok..except for that whole stomach bug thing
As far as toys..HAHAHHA...I am not sure what all I did order LOL. I got a Big Shot and some dies..and some embossing folders..and some inks..and some stamps..and some paper..and some more art supplies..oh and a super cute apron! But nothing has come yet..darn on-line ordering. I am an instant gratification kinda gal LOL..
I am hoping at least something comes today..I would love to play today( and yes I have stuff to play with..I want the NEW stuff to play with HA!)
I have wasted the better part of today on Pinterest....Had a headache most of the day, finally gone. Watched the Nationwide Daytona race today. Fantastic last lap. Washing clothes and trying to figure out what to feed hubby for dinner that takes no effort! LOL

...lol, is why I still am holding on to my will power, lol (jk). Ladies are killin' me on FB tho, I keep seeing some cute stuff/great ideas show up on my news feed and I keep telling myself that is why I must stay off, I'd be on there all day, I know I would! I hope you're feeling better!
Today I am catching up in my craft cave. I was suppose to come home from book club yesterday and spend the rest of the evening in there but hubs and I decided to go on a date. Went to see Safehouse. What a movie!
So today is the day after returning home from Orlando.
Coming home is always bittersweet. I look forward to coming home because it's nice to be back to my own bed, to have regular food that doesn't cost a fortune, to have all my stuff around so I can do what I want when I want but it's sad to have the journey end. We went from 31C on Friday in Orlando to -8C Saturday night back in Regina and it was storming so now there's shoveling to do today.
Our trip was great fun though! We had an awesome week of sight and smells and sounds and rides. We saw lots of characters and lots of shows, parades and fireworks. My niece discovered she loved roller coasters so my husband was thrilled to have someone to ride with.
We ate way too much!
We walked way too many miles on tired, aching feet!
We got wet!
We got sunburned!
We laughed, we cried, we lost my camera.....boo!
The next challenge is taking all the maps and ticket bits and photos and memories and getting them into a smash book before we can't remember what happened! That should keep my sister and I busy for a while.

Oh Lori I am soooo happy you had a wonderful time!! Which was your favorite park? Each time we go, I like a different one the best.
The last time we were there, I slipped and fell at the Pirates of the Carribean ride. Broke my camera and twisted my ankle. I Limbed thru the parks for 3 days after! It was still probably our best visit. Was with my entire family.

I really couldn't pick a favourite park. We spent the most time in Magic Kingdom but we had an excellent meal at the Mexican pavilion in Epcot and I really enjoying Soarin' there. We all got a big surprise on Expedition Everest in Animal Kingdom as no one was prepared for such a wild ride on that roller coaster. My mom is 69 and she was wobbly in the knees after we got off! We saw Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios which was really cool but we also stood in line for 90 minutes for Toy Story Mania (at least Mr Potato Head entertained us ) which was way longer than the estimated time shown so you win some, you lose some.
There's really no place like Disney...
Also on the plus side - the neighbour's boy came 'round on Sunday afternoon and offered to use their snow blower on our driveway for $10 so of course I said YES!

Snow!!!? In my area we could have tornadoes tonight.
I used to chase before I got ill a couple of years ago. My DH just left for work. Where is he heading? Joplin! I am really level headed about storms. What did I do as he's getting ready for work? I am fretting. I was like "I want you out of there when you see that line move in." I feel silly right now.
I had a good Monday. I wanted to craft but oh no I had to do computer geek things. I am still trying to get my computer up to my specifications. I almost done. I have to test everything with Windows 7. I am being too much of a perfectionist. I reset my Blackberry too.
I got my Big Shot today I'm not feeling too well but I had to try out my new toy! I'm taking a break after making some elements for some everyday random "just because" cards.
