Congratulations on taking the giant step. I am a member for one year now and lost 80 lbs. I just bought the new PointsPlus cookbook. It is full of excellent meals and soups. The big thing is "tracking." I didn't do a lot of tracking but have now that I've reached a plateau. Good luck with your journey.

Terrific! I love Weight Watchers. I'm a Lifetime member working to get back to goal - for the last time! As mentioned, tracking is the key. Unless you're doing Simply Filling (and I don't trust myself to do that), IMHO you're not really doing the program at all unless you're tracking. My other big WW soapbox is this - don't be afraid of the weekly points. Lots of people seem to think it's cheating to use them, but it's not! You need to experiment to find out what the right balance is for you, but many of us find that we lose better if we use some or all of the weeklies. My personal system is to eat all activity points plus between 20 and 30 of the weeklies. If I eat less than that, I actually tend to gain instead of lose! I'm down 45 pounds since March, and less than 20 pounds from goal.

Great job! I lost 30 pounds on WW last year and have kept it off but have not managed to get myself on track enough to lose anymore. I keep saying next week - next month - haha. I think the previous posts about tracking are right. I did much better when I did that. Breakfast is a problem for me because I work and don't have time to eat at home before I leave. So I've found something I like that's easy to transport and that's what I have almost every day. Some people would find that boring but for me it works because I don't have to think about it. Good luck. I think maybe you've inspired me to get moving again!
