Just found out about it this year from reading posts on FB. I bought one for me to document my "empty nest year" and one for my soon to be daughter in law (June 2 is the big day) to document their wedding plans and exploration of Fort Lauderdale (their new home). I have been taking pictures everyday. My hubby says it has to include some of me and is always trying to grab the camera from me

Laura they are engaged??? Congrats sistah!! I know you are gonna be sad but it shouldn't! You should journal about how YOU feel through this process.. Please promise me you will.
Kleenex with tears.. Stuff about houses they are looking at...
I just got my kit in the mail yesterday! I had fun doing it lat year, but kinda stopped half way through when my husband deployed. My life was soooo not worth documenting for those 6 months, lol!!! i'm excited to get back into it this year!
Yep! The got engaged on 11/11/11 at 11:11 pm. I am really happy about it. She will be an awesome daughter in law. She thinks I'm pretty amazing too.... Lol! You are right... I need to journal this new phase in life. I love that she keeps me involved in all the planning. Last night she emailed me the final save the date card they are mailing out. So cute... She got the idea on Pinterest.

I've had my kit for a while, and I'm going to finally get started! I've been taking photos and collecting bits and pieces (ticket stubs, etc.) all week. Haven't actually done anything yet, but I'm getting there mentally.
Have to admit I had no idea what this was but have seen it circulating in blogland. A quick trip to Becky's website and now I'm in the know. Don't really think this is for me but I will tell ya that Becky's receipe section is filled with some great ideas. I had all the ingredients in the house for Chicken Enchiladas and hubby LOVED it! It was quick and easy. Thanks for inspiring a new dinner! Who knew?
I posted my first weeks work on my blog! I loved every minute of it. Think about it sistahs.. You are creating a true history by making these binders. Little moments documented... Focusing on life rather than events. The project is priceless IMHO. I also love the fact that I can stamp, colour, even journal in it. *love*
Project Life sistahs....do you journal as events happen and then add the pictures when you get them printed? January 19th and I'm already struggling...

I started project life last year, I am not doing it on a weekly basis rather as an ongoing chronological scrapbook. As Becky says there is no right or wrong way to do Project life. My Daughter asked for one for her birthday last year, so of course I bought it for her lol.
Every TOOSDAY I will be posting my Project Life entry.. I am hoping you sistahs can join me and send me your entries! it will be Projectliferiffic TOOSDAYS..LOL

Not me! It looks like too much work. And mine would just be a bunch of squares saying things like:
"Looked for a job" "No interview--again" "spent too many hours on SCS" "Watched six episodes of Law & Order on Netflix" "Need milk, but will wait until I drop off this application so I can save on gasoline" "Got a job rejection ... at least I got a reply this time!" "I think I gained another pound". Photos would include pictures of me without makeup, in my house dress, with unshaven legs (did I just write that for all to see?) and limp, unstyled hair with 2" of graying roots!
Who wants to document that? Mine is currently a life that I hope to forget, not one I want to preserve for posterity! LOL
That said, I do enjoy looking at other people's Project Life pages.
P.S. If I get a job interview, I promise I will touch up the gray, put on regular clothes and makeup and will even shave my legs!
I'm doing it again this year. I fell behind last year, but am back at it this year and plan to catch up last years, too. Off to check out your album, Em.
