Such a tragic end to a beautiful woman with an incredible talent. I guess we will find out soon enough if it was drug/alcohol related.
On a happier note, I have been jamming to Neil Diamond all day. And like everyone is, i am loving Adele. I have such a wide variety of music taste. I would say U2 and Led Zeppelin are my all time favorites.
How about you? What do you listen to when stamping, cleaning, driving, etc.

Oldies but goodies, KEARTH 101, here in Southern Calif. Told My husband that's why I like him, he's an oldie, but goodie. He looked at me and rolled his eyes! Whatever! I laughed! Yeah, We are good for a long time! Just love him! Will be 5 years in September! More of a dad to my kids than their real dad! Life is awesome! Hope you all have a great week!
The movie about Johnny Cash got me listening to him and June again. Can't recall the name right now. Gordon Lightfoot.... There ya go! The good sounds of the '70's! Lots of memories of high school.

My all time favorite is Bob Seger (wouldn't know I was 61 would you LOL) I happen to love all kinds of music from Led Zepplin to Il Divo with the exception of opera. I can't handle that.
I just got a couple of Adele cd's for Christmas - LOVE! I'm not into country or some of the alternative or heavy stuff that's out there but otherwise I really enjoy a wide variety of music. With Canadian music I really like the band Hedley and for US peeps I really like Rob Thomas and Maroon 5. I usually get on to some cd or another and then play it TO DEATH before switching to something else.

I needed a lift today so it was all about Prince - the Purple Rain album. Always puts me in a good mood.

Me too! I listen to CDs at work when I need to concentrate (it helps cover distracting noise). I will listen to the same one a lot and then move on to something else.

For me, it depends on my mood. I tend to put my iPod on shuffle. Some of my favorite bands/artists include: Social Distortion; Garth Brooks; Tom Petty; U2; Depeche Mode; Tim McGraw; Chris Cornell; Nirvana and more.
In the car, I often flip through the stations which include country, classic rock, alternative and "oldies". I'm in So California. Favorite stations are: Jack FM (93.1); KROQ (106.7); KFRG (95.1); KRTH (101) KKGO (105.1).
I'm surprised that Lindabella hasn't popped in this thread to tell us about her love for Dave Mathews!!!
ummmm.....YES....LOVE my Dave! 2012 Tour was just announced and we are heading to Texas in May! but i also have a secret love affair with Neil Diamond and we have tickets to see him in June! crazy...Dave to Neil...like Neil could be Dave's father! But I think it is that deep raspy voice they both have that melts me every time.
And for Whitney...RIP...the bodyguard is one of my all time fav romance movies! I'm pretty sure I played that soundtrack until I burned a hole in it.

oh...and I've seen U2 a few times too! but nowhere near the hotness of Dave or Neil!

I'm the queen of shuffle when it comes to housework or bike riding or anything where I'm not really focused on the music. I often find myself completely mystified by what I'm listening to because I don't recognize it!

Jordan, my daughter, just went to a Flogging Molly concert and has been meaning to give me one of her cd's outta her truck, to listen to. I finally grabbed it this morning and put it in my car. I am HOOKED! I love Irish music and Irish punk is right up my alley. Don't know if I could color to it...it's a little too "upbeat", LOL, but FUN!!
Then I call her today and tell her that mommy needs more Flogging Molly and I will 'family share' off her itunes account. She tells me they are actually based in Detroit, though all born in Ireland. Now I will be on a mission to see them when they come back from current tour.

hmmmmm...this sounds like something that i might like...keep me posted.
Guess I am alone here...I am a product of the Regan era so when I am stamping I have the 80's new wave chanel on the TV going in the background! The Smiths, Souxie and the Banshees...that kind of stuff If I am in the mood for rock, it's either classic rock or Hair Nation! I have a playlist called "The background of my youth" and that one has Tony Orlando & Dawn, Little River Band, Carly Simon...even a Mac Davis tune in there!! That's the stuff my mom would listen to so it gives me a laid back sort of feeling when I am listening

Not alone! I like many, many kinds of music!
60s Motown & classic rock; 70s Heavy Metal & rock; 70s & 80s Blues; 80s Alternative & Grunge; 80s & 90s Country. I haven't quite figured out what my favorites of the 2000s are. I guess I tend to prefer pre-millennium stuff.
I wil have to check them out! 1st time I have heard of them.

I am totally turned off by country western. I think it's a result from the Brooks and Dunn remix of "Boot Scootin Boogy". They played that remix to death here in Texas!!! Lol
