I still love pti white. Just been a while since I investigated. Plus, pti's flat shipping is high so if I order there I'll prob get enough for free shipping. Not my fave thing. :/ but I do love the cs. How does it compare to the Neenah cs in the SC kits??

Actually, that IDK. Will check when later when I get time @ home. I'm thinking I like PTI better...cuz Neenah is thinner. But, don't quote me on that. I will check.

Ya know I don't color, right?

Now that I"ve said that, next project I make, I will stamp & color with markers.

Thanks! And I don't color on PTI unless it's for a submission and I haven't done that in over two years. I do want to get back to it, though. Just good practice if nothing else. But I color on Georgia Pacific cardstock. I need card base white.

I do like the PTI Stamper Select White for a card base.

Hope you do, too.

I wish I could find a sturdy 12 x 12 white...similar in weight to PTI Stamper's Select OR the weight of the SU! colored CS. The SU! white 12 x 12 is just as thin as the 8.5 x 11 white.

They all cost me money! Betsy is a genius.

I might order MFT paper. I need to compare the whites. (I got a sampler pack of MFT so I could see all the colors, but haven't used the white yet.)

But Betsy is brilliant. Amazingly, fabulously brilliant.

It's fine! If the Neenah isn't as thick or almost as thick as the PTI than I'll get something else.

Updated sampler of PTI or MFT? I think I have the most up to date of each one. If I get PTI I'm getting the $3 pack of Limade Ice. I want to try that color.

I'm a PTI fan for white cardstock. I think its thicker and blends better then the others I've tried. In the copic class they sampled several of them, and I still liked the thickness and how it blended. Cuts nicely as well. Ill be ordering the 15th and would happily add to my order for you. I know there shipping is high, but I always hit the free shipping amount.
I'm a shipping buddy for several out of the country stampers.

With this last increase of shipping prices for USPS the prices are horrible! The most reasonable rate is if you can fit something into an envelope...(plastic knives fit in an envelope!) box rates are more than UPS.

USPS boxes now include tracking...which I seldom ever paid to have because it only works IF the employee remembers to scan the item and it doesn't tell you where it was delivered...just that it WAS delivered...doesn't do any good when it is lost...

Getting off my soap box...

Aw, thanks! If I decide on PTI I'll order it, though. I have a slightly large *cough cough* wishlist there so hitting free shipping is not the issue. That's really nice of you to be a shipping buddy!! And now, I realize that I've "seen" you on the PTI forum.

They are trying to change their system & the tracking is mandatory by the employee. Postage has gotten to be expensive!

They have some really cool padded flat rate envelopes that can only be ordered from usps.com I can fit 2-3 pair of pants into one envelope!

I have a two drawer file cabinet that's full. All those little files for the 8 billion different colors take up space.

It's true! And there are still colors I don't have that I really want. Like a steel grey. And some good pinks. The bright pinks tend to be...harsh. And I should probably buy a pack of red from wherever I order. Archer gravitates to true red and it gets used. Doesn't sit around like some other colors. And a deep yellow. I'm almost out of that, too. It's the neutrals that I go through, though.

All the talk of white cardstock so I checked out JoAnn's...65# 50 pieces $3.99...nothing heavier weight...

I couldn't find any Vellum dots either...

Didn't buy any stamping related supplies

I did buy boning for Pink Snuggles for her next War Between the States dress!

Melissa! I'm trying to set up my desk organizer. What are you putting in the back slot? 8.5x11 paper is barely visible in the back and the opening isn't wide enough for 12x12. Help!

I agree, the 8.5 x 11 is barely visible in the back row / slot. I keep my label sheets in the middle row, standing tall - works good. I can get 12 x 12 paper in the back row / slot. hmmm... OK. it's 12 x 12 without that little lip (on the paper)...Becky Higgins 12 x 12 paper is in the back row / slot, so is my 12 x 12 POW Glitter paper.

OK. lemme think.

dude, this is a bummer. are you sure or do you need more coffee?

i'm thinking i wanted to put my becky higgins page protectors in & the organizers are not wide enough. i do know i have my 12 x 12 pow glitter & my becky higgins paper

oh...i know...thicker packets....you could have two columns of thickers! And they to have that flap at the top...

I might do that, too. I have one with an empty back row / slot.

i've been wanting to get my thickers out of the drawer...

OK. it's 12 x 12 without that little lip (on the paper)...Becky Higgins 12 x 12 paper is in the back row / slot, so is my 12 x 12 POW Glitter paper.

OK. lemme think.

dude, this is a bummer. are you sure or do you need more coffee?
I'll try again. But it wasn't going in easy that's for sure!

This one Cory!

Desktop Organizer

Melissa, yup, you're right! I had a fistful of Basic Grey I was trying to put in there and I guess some of it was turned so the extra tab was width-wise. (Where they write the name of the paper.)

So here's what I have in mine. The drawer has 4 little containers in it. 1 for number die cuts, 1 for banner/tab die cuts, 1 for scripty alpha cuts, 1 for block alpha cuts.
The next thing up has my box of grid cards in one slot, pads of journal/filler cards from smash and recollections, and I haven't put anything in the other slot.
Next thing up is 8.5x11 cs that is in use for some reason - been misted, printables waiting to be trimmed, etc. - and a pti stamp box with card bits in use.
Then nothing in the back yet.

I also have this small organizer from target with my precision pens, instaframe cuts, and notebook page cuts. Nothing in the back of it yet either.

Woot! I finally figured out how to take pictures that won't be sideways.

Looks good!

Glad you figured out the 12 x 12 and the sideways picture.

Looks like mine...cuz that's exactly what's in my front row / divided slots...PL cards.

I keep washi tape in the drawer.

I do too...

Did you see the washi tape organizer from the same collection? I got one package...contains two tape holders...and the rest of the washi is still with the SC kits.

I'm trying to use it up...fast.
