Thank you all for the comments on my card. All the ingredients came from Ginak stamptv kit from two years ago, spring silhouette.

I haven't. I did see Target has We R Memory Keepers albums and pages, but I didn't get to look at them closely. The little journal cards were cute, though!

Is there a section for Flourishes on SCS? (asking here so I don't overwhelm one person with all my questions today! )

She and Edith have been friends for years.

Thank you mrslaird for those great pencils. they color beautifully. there is stardust pen on the wings but it doesn't show up much on the pic. love it IRL.

Are you asking if Flourishes is a Member company? If that is your question, then no Flourishes isn't a member company so they don't have their own thread in the Member Company subcategory. But you can do a search for Flourishes in the gallery, although you will come up with extra items because any stamp set that has the word flourishes will come up also.

One Happy Stamper
StamperTammy
Twinshappy

Those are a few people that are either currently on the Flourishes DT or previously.

If those are the We R Memory keeper pages they seem pretty nice. I ordered a couple since they were on sale when I bought my albums. I like the We R Memory keeper albums much better than the PL albums. I am not too thrilled with the card sets from PL. I should have just made my own. But, then I would be back in the same place with years of photos piled up.

I'm curious about monthly kit subscriptions...does anyone subscribe to one? Any in particular I should look at or avoid?

I don't subscribe to any monthly kits or magazines (I'm too picky you might say...I don't like to pay for that which I wouldn't like!)

Is there a way on SCS to find cards made using Flourishes Hearts & Flowers?

(I can't figure it out though I've tried... )

If you go to the gallery search box, you can type in Hearts & Flowers Flourishes. It brings up 95.

ETA: not all of them are Flourishes, but there's a good #.

Another question...

Long, long ago I purchased some stamping items from a company whose name I can not remember...

What I do remember is in the name was Stitchin 123

Can anyone help me find this company?

They sell embroidery items as well as stamping items.

(And Scraperwannbe...thanks for your ability to enable me...yesterday I stamped and colored 18 images! )

Also...

How does a person adhere clear stamps to a clear block when the stamp is "old" and no longer adheres?

Have a few of the original "Flourishes" stamps that no longer adhere...

kramomma could this be it? Cross Stitch, Needlepoint, Rubber Stamps from 1-2-3 Stitch!

They claim to have cross stitch, needlepoint, quilting, and stamping supplies. I might have to waste a minute or two checking them out...

To get cling stamps sticky again, rinse them in warm water. Also make sure the block is clean. That should do it. I guess if they're really old, you might just have to use double stick tape.

I really like the Unity kit of the month. I find they have a little bit of everything and the quality of the stamps are awesome.

I will try this...they are REALLY old...the first clear stamps we ever purchased! Have been used lots so I wondered if I would just need to toss them...I'll try double stick tape next!

Thank you.

Cory - kits...STUDIO CALICO!

Right here: Front Row | Scrapbooking Kits, Paper & Supplies, Ideas & More at StudioCalico.com!

I don't get "things which I don't like." These kits have the latest items and just enough to not overwhelm. Keeping an open mind...I find I can use all the products. But like I said...these are the latest items...use them while they are H>O>T>...and be ready for the next new thing to roll in next month.

I find I can use the kits for many things...I have used Front Row SB kit...for HALLOWEEN PHOTOS! And I was happy with the results.

I signed up for their stamp of the week last week. Does the kit of the month have papers and stuff or just the 8.5x11 sheet of stamps?

YES! YES! yes. The classes are fab! This month is Bright ideas. Next month is "you've got mail" and it's CARD focused...and some big names in card making are going to be contributing to the class.

I hope it's as good as Bright ideas has been! Goodness.

I signed up for a couple studio calico kits Melissa, both the scrapbook and the card kits. That bright ideas class looked interesting, may have to try the March class...

I love them...and please do join us for "You've Got Mail!"

You can see sneak peeks of the projects here:

Sneak Peeks | Scrapbooking Kits, Paper & Supplies, Ideas & More at StudioCalico.com!

Just scroll down & change pages until you see "You've Got Mail!". I already received my stamp set...and it looks like the stamp set is still available!

Congrats on signing up for the kits...again, I love mine!

I signed up for the card class this morning . Really looking forward to it. I also just ordered the seafoam project life items, I am going to try to do a weekly gratitude/favorite things type book with it.

just cranked out 12 CAS cards to put in the military box we are sending to our nephews unit in Afghanistan. Thought a few cards would be appreciated. I didn't photo them but maybe i will in the morning and then do a simple blog post. Kind of group them together. I kind of want to remember what i did cuz usually CAS is not so CAS for me but these went together really quickly and i love them. military cards can't have glitter and ribbons and bows can become disconnected too easily, so i just chose simple. DH liked them all.

I know I'm not totally stupid but why reinvent the wheel if someone can help me!

Has anyone seen directions on-line for making this cute monkey?

I'm trying to stamp the inside of my cards now and am discovering that I have hardly any stamps for this. Anyone have something they love? Especially for birthdays and weddings?

There are a couple of old SU sets that I use...for children...nothing for adults...

Just write really big and you won't have to say much!

OR...have your little ones scribble a thought or two...then you can write the interpretation of what they said!
