I know. I love their storage cubes.

Do I need it? kind of...to keep my current stuff at my chair. But when I'm not crafting, I like that space OPEN.

Do I have a place for it? it's on wheels. I'll roll it out of the way. And when I work, roll it out of the way.

I like this one better than the other one I saw that I let go.

Thought I'd post this here feather than hijacking the flying thread.

So the boy edition of PL is not that boyish IMHO. It's a soft bluegreen color not a true baby boy blue.

I put together a couple of pages to give the kids the idea. I really hope they will like it and use it. She is not crafty at all. But, I'm hoping!!

Thanks for the review, Cher! I wish you could get a multicolored kit with boy, girl, and neutral cards all in one.

I'm wondering if my friend would like the girl set. I might show her and see what she thinks. I'd love to get it for her if she thinks she'll use it, but it's too expensive for me to just surprise her and see what happens. She's not crafty and I'm not even sure she has a real camera right now. I'm sure that will be rectified before baby girl arrives, though.

The StazOn made the stamps too sticky.
STAzon makes all my stamps sticky. When I re inked it I don't get good coverage from it anymore.

Same here...I'm no longer gonna use Staz-on on paper...just on stuff like tiles & plastic.

I got three more cards made today. DH was watching a Vietnam documentary and I just couldn't watch that. I hope he sleeps okay tonight. Anyway, I went stamping. I just purchased this cute digi from Sweet and Sassy and I love how my cards turned out. This is my favorite. Isn't he adorable turning his face up like that? styrofoam snowflakes cut out from a cheese tray.

Organization question!

How do you store/organize your unmounted stamps? Clear and rubber.

I am in the middle of a huge re-organization project. I used to store all my stamps by set. I found that I was not stamping because I didn't want to go through all the sets to find a stamp that would work.

So I recently started sorting them by type, so birthday with birthday, Christmas with Christmas, and such...

I store all my stamps in empty CD cases that I bought from Rima.com. I don't have any wood mounted stamps anymore. I have taken the rubber off and put it on cling cushion. So all of my stamps are unmounted.

I am hoping that this works better for me.

I took a picture of my system for a friend the other day... I would post it here, but I haven't figured out how to send pics to here from my phone yet.

I have mine in cd cases in a shoe box. I write what's in there on the side so I can see the title as I flip through the box.

Thanks for the info girls! Keep it coming! I still need to watch the videos in the organized crafter class - so have not attempted that with this goofy internet connection lately - and check in on the Use Every Stamp class because she's organizing hers over the year.

My PTI stamps are in the cd cases they came in. (I've only bought two sets since they stopped providing cases.)

A Muse stamps are in the dvd cases they came in.

GinaK is in univenture binder boxes on the laminate sheets they came on. I have extra boxes that I could use for Unity and other stamps, but I don't have any binder sheets.

Unity, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc unmounted rubber are sort of stuck in these scrapbook binders people were using a few years ago, but they aren't organized at all and really need something else.

Clear stamp sets are in SU clamshell boxes on the acrylic sheet they came on, organized by category for the most part, brand occasionally. Studio Calico - brand. MFT will probably be brand.

Things live on my table for a long time. I have a big table but only use a tiny space for crafting. Moreso now than before. Amelia likes to bite stamps.

i just had to post this. I love how it turned out. I had no idea what i wanted to do for this sympathy card for our friend whose dad just passed except I knew I wanted to to the tag with ribbon. I should make some more of these, however I only had a bit of the CS left that covers the chipboard tag I cut. I love this beautiful linen finish paper i got at a garage sale. it was perfect for this card creating a bit of a tapestry effect IRL. I rarely use my stampscapes but every once in a while they are just the perfect answer.

I am working my way through the thread so someone might have already answered this, but have you tried a little bit of dishsoap on a papertowel, it doesn't remove the stain but it removes the stickiness. That or stazon stamp clear obvioulsy works.

Here is the card I made for my 100 year old friend. She will be 100 on the 25th. She said she doesn't want a party. Imagine!! We are going to do a card shower for her and hope she gets 100 cards! She is in pretty good rig too. She is in assisted living but she pretty much takes care of herself except for her meals.

She still gets out to our Sunday morning meetings when someone picks her up. It's her choice, if she wants to come she calls. She doesn't much like getting out in this winter weather though, too much of a chance to slip and fall.

She and Edith have been friends for years.

Thank you mrslaird for those great pencils. they color beautifully. there is stardust pen on the wings but it doesn't show up much on the pic. love it IRL.

Janeenk...did you use a brad for the butterfly head or am I imagining that?

No, it is just stamped and cut out.
