I wish I had a mini instead of the full size score pal. It takes up more room then it needs to.

I have the mini...and it is too short for some items...Kub took the regular size Scor-Pal with him to Texas...

It seems I've only used mine for A2 size cards. But good to know.

There have been some craft projects I've made that have required my turning the card to finish a line...and though it isn't an issue, it is just another step in the process which is distracting to me...

and...everyone knows...

Thank you VERY MUCH! Hey, krapopppa, would you print me this information?

He said yes...and it is printing...

I am in love with the envelope punch board. I had to make my dad a birthday card and made the envy from roll Kraft paper ( the very cheap big roll from Walmart) and it worked beautifully!

I wrapped the gift in it as well and used twine and Washi,it looks very cute!

My aunt had a similar issue with the sketches with the arched bottoms. She couldn't walk right for moths. Glad the flowers have brightened your gloomy days, it will be nice when its really summer. I guess we just aren't used to such gloomy spring weather.

I used several of these sketches for making some cards yesterday. Here are 2 very simple and even unexciting in my opinion...but...will serve their purpose!

kramomma, these are lovely cards. I know you're not asking... but were you to ask.... if, in your opinion, they're unexciting, one simple thing to add a little more interest might have been to cuttlebug the main layer... just my uninvited $.02 but they really are beautiful just as they are!! CAS is clean and simple and you've achieved that wonderfully!!!

No doubt we are going to show up on one of those lists....high jacking, crack.....lol

I agree, I think they are great CAS cards. I made a CAS for my Dads birthday yesterday but forgot to take a pic before sending it off.

Did anyone see the winner from last Fridays flourishes challenge? I didn't see the winner with the new post?

I like when you spend your 2 cents...and I am giving no change!

I did Cuttlebug a couple of the other cards I did...I needed the cards to be masculine since they are for Red Bear to use for sending to people who donate to the Burma trip...

Here are 3 others plus one...the plus one is RB's favorite...he said there are different colors for each of the team members and he liked that!

If you look closely at the 3 using the same DP 2 of them appear that the lines are going the same direction and the other looks like the lines are going opposite when in reality they are all going the same direction...it seems that the Cuttlebug folder changes the visual...I found that to be very interesting when looking at them on the computer!

I did not...was that the one with a butterfly? I had an idea pop into my head while at Michael's last week but it left my head until just now...so...too late no matter what the date!

I have made my decision!

I am going to purchase the Martha Stewart Scoring Board with a 40% off coupon (if it works today at Michael's) and I am not going to purchase the Envelope Punch Board.

In the place where I do my most positive thinking I realized that each envelope was going to cost me about 20 cents since that is the price I pay when I purchase DP at Michael's on sale...but when I purchase the card and envelope sets together to use for my card base then it is only 13 cents...

For making a few DP cards I can figure out the MSSB...as I have made a few without such fun tools!

The one advantage I have read about the EBP is that there is a place for the scoring tool to be put...and I wonder...how many of these people really put the tool back in place when they immediately finish making the line?

I do on my Scor-Buddy so I suspect I would on the EBP as well...but...it just isn't enough of a selling point for me to purchase it when I really have been wanting to get a larger Scor-Pal and when choosing between the SP and MSSB I have not thought twice about the SP...

Now you know my 2-bits worth of thoughts from that positive place of my mind!!!! (Edith199...those thoughts had quite the conversation with you in my head! Thanks for the visit )

oh my dear friend... thank you for the visit (even if I didn't know I was there )

I like the way you have thought this through... and I like where you've landed! and if you're ever tempted to buy the EBP, you can always come back here and re-read your thought process... it may mean you still buy the EBP but that would also mean that other factors have changed... and that's ok... but for now, this is a good place to land, me thinks

Paula, thanks for telling me about MFT dies. I recently got some and I love them. Also like their cardstock, white!

Heres a little pack of cards i made as a gift to take up for a little hostess gift for my niece. Very simple, very fun to make, nice impact. I made ten in about an hour and fifteen. I put white paper on the inside writing part for a clean space to write a note and stamped the sentiment on the facing, inside. Sponged all the die cuts w different colr distress inks for more pow. I used my spellbinders die to emboss shape instead of cutting it.

At this point it was just learning...no actual stamping desire at this point...I would really like to make a chipboard book but no one in my current life would like one I'm sure

Cute, cute, cute! And that's a lot of cards that quickly! Even if they were simple!

janeenk...I know I've tried this before and was not successful at the emboss only on a piece of cardstock...but at that time of life my head was very foggy and ill...I think I better understand the Spellbinders and my Cuttlebug so...would you tell me again the steps to get this accomplished?

I did watch a video on how to use a punch and punch out a long line of words...I would like to try that this month in my card making!

I did watch a video on how to use a punch and punch out a long line of words...I would like to try that this month in my card making!
here is the link i watched and just adjusted for my cuttle bug. the layering was the same i think. don't really know as i just do it and even then i had to think about it a couple of times to be sure i was getting the side up that i wanted.
