They will have lots of options for their Washi tape card, of course I used my favorite tape!

The coloring image is slightly different than the one used last time but it is daisy and it is on the same size Spellbinder die.
Love these cards. Especially the daisy ones! You didn't color all if them did you?

I now own the Midnight edition from project life. (it's a sickness ) i also got a package of the pages the one, that has 40 A and 20 B pages. I really do intend,to start scrapping again just as soon as Zachary moves out of my craft room. which may be soon.

I thought the midnight would have some black in it but it's really just dark gray. Kind of charcoal. I like it but I would also like some black.

OK, so if I go to Michaels where do I look for these project life kits? I'm dieing to see what they are. Maybe I'll do a few pages if I get one.

2 cards made today and blogged or in the gallery once they are approved.

I don't believe Michaels will get them until the end of June. I got mine at Hobby Lobby. You can check the PL website to see who else might have them. Amazon has them but no 40% off coupon. They were the same price at the store as amazon but I got to use 40% off. So.......

They went...there was only one lady that came...and the librarian because she was working...she technically wasn't old enough but...I let her do the projects as I had plenty of supplies!

The lady that came is 86...still drives in NP...and her comment when it was time to adhere the pieces she said, Why don't you do that for me, you always get the perfect spot!

She colored, she taped...I adhered! She had such a good time...those are her exact words several times to me!!!!

Her son is the organic farmer next door to us to the north!

I won't offer another one to the public but might see if some of the ladies I know want to do it a different day of the week...still at the library because there are nice tables...working with 6-8 people...

Thanks for being interested in my "unimportant nothing"!

So not an "unimportant nothing"!!! I'm sorry it didn't take off. Do you think it was the day of the week. Or the age group? You were willing to do something nice for others without asking for anything in return. I think that is very important! Thank you for setting such a good example!

Has anyone found a Michael's 40% off coupon for this week?

And...thanks chercher for the kind words...I had so much fun the first class that I was really looking forward to this second time...but it is a bad day I heard for seniors...it is our local town discounts so people are out shopping!

I'm not that age yet for our local shopping discounts...but hey...I am for Culver's, Perkin's and Wendy's...

I could not seep well last night at all. I think the damp weather has my arthritis flaring up. My feet and knees need a good talking to!!!

But that won't stop me from shopping today!

kramomma, I'm sorry that your class this time just 'went' ... you had such a good time the first class... it is disappointing to have just one lady come

you could do it still... even if only for the 86 yr old lady... she might like the company? or could you offer it on a day that's not senior's shopping day? just some of my thoughts....

My addiction is purple...yep...purple...today I bought purple washi tape in a design I have never seen...and a piece of DP that is purple stripe in unique purple colors!

Oh...I'm also trying to build my yellow collection...I am not a yellow person...but with black it has become striking to me...

Had a fun little shop at a little stamp store east and south of me about an hour...

Yup, and that's really odd for me. I'm usually not at all pink. I don't own a single pink piece of clothing. But I guess I'm getting softer with age!

Question...

What does the Envelope Punch Board do that you can't do with the Martha Stewart Scoring Board Martha Stewart Crafts? | Scoring Board ?

(Obviously I know the MSP doesn't have a punch...but other than that!)

Also...I talked to a lady today that says it is difficult for left-handers to use scoring boards so I don't need to think I am an odd person!

I never tried to make my own envelope with just a score board. And really haven't used the punch board to give an honest answer.

What does this being difficult for left handers to use have anything to do with you not being an odd person????

Well it wasn't that she was trying to make a sale...cause she talked me out of the Martha Stewart board for the moment and encouraged me to get it at a larger store with a coupon if I could!

I did spend the same amount of money, just on something different than the MS product!

The score line is on the right, but you could easily hold it so its on the left, just have the punch towards you.

The problem I find is that as I use the scoring tool my hand moves towards the left and it easily "jumps the hump" and I'm onto the next line, now with a crooked line!

Also I put my hand on the right side of the paper which doesn't hold it quite as tightly into the upper left corner as it does when holding the paper with your left hand.

I get this with doing even the fold on a card sometimes...I watch GKD's videos and notice how quick she does it and of course always is straight...though I suppose if she did "jump the hump" hers could be edited out!

I would really like to be able to use the board upside down and the numbers going backwards!

There is only one score line with the punch board so I think it might work better for you. I say for 20 bucks give it a go and sell if you don't like.

I'm parting with my bind it all and your story this week.
