High temp today is supposed to be 97*. A/c has already kicked on several times this morning.

I really need to at least get some images colored today. I need to make 6 more cards for Sept.

Return library books
Deliver food box (11:45)
Be ready to leave at 1:15

Good morning ladies

Just a quick check in while out of town. I am wwwwaaaaaaayyyyyyy behind on all the news but am not going to go back to Friday and try to catch up. If there is anything really important that has happened, someone please pm me. The weather has been nice but overcast teh last 2 days. DD1, dsil and the girlies left on Tuesday so yesterday was uber quiet compared to the normal...kinda missed the noise and certainly missed the hugs and kisses. We will leave on Saturday to head back and then in classes Sunday - Wednesday so not much contact then either.

Hope everyone is having a good week.

Love and hugs and prayers to everyone whether you need them or not, 'cause we all need them whether we want to admit it or not. LOL

My room has been neglected when it comes to cleaning, I really need to get things spruced up soon!

Kra, enjoy your adventure, can't be all bad if icecream is involved!

Today
Laundry started
Kitchen routine
Mini mission, ugh! I have a huge box of medical supplies and an IV pole in there and Ed doesn't think I should get rid of them yet. So I guess ill tidy around them. To bad someone else couldn't use them, I'm sure it costs thousands of dollars.

Good morning y'all!

Well I'm back in my own home now. Just dh and me. My it's quiet!!! thought I would be exhausted when I got home yesterday but somehow I had tons of energy. I unloaded my car. Got out the vacuum and vacuumed up all of the kids dogs hair. Cleaned up my kitchen. Cleaned out my fridge. I figured if I was doing all that cleaning for the kiddos it would be nice to do it for us also.

Today

Wait for it

I'm moving back into my craft room!!!

I loved sharing it with Z man and I'm sure I'll miss him! But, I'm so motivated to craft again and now I can really get down to business. And my poor dining room can be clean and tidy again.

High here is expected to be 93. But right now it's only 73. That's what has changed not so much the highs, but the lows. I love it when it cools down in the evening.

Got my windows open. Love! The waterfall on the pool going. So serene.

I got her the Saeco Syntia.
Mine is about 8 years old it is a Saeco Magic Comfort Plus. Still works great!

I wish I had thought of my other ddil when it was on sale as I just found out she/they would love one also. I'll be keeping my eye out!

Glad you had a good outing. Maybe if you meet there again you could take your own mug. At SB they take $0.10 off when you bring in your own mug. I use a travel mug that keeps my coffee hot a long time.

I believe you can get it in black instead of stainless for $150.00 less.

I must say Saeco makes very good machines. We've had ours at least 8 years. Dfil has had his as long and dsil has had hers 7 years. Dsil did have a problem this year but she brought it here to Austin (we have a licensed Saeco repairman here ) not sure how much she paid but it was cheap compared to a new machine and it works great again.

Thanks Cher!

So far today:
Called the school about having lunch with Archer - she didn't think there'd be room for all of us so I'll just send Jeff or maybe Jeff and Ezra.
Called surgeons because Ezra was playing with the syringe to flush out my tooth holes and there is no way I'm putting it back in my mouth - hygeine is not his forte
Showered, dressed
Breakfast
Washed a load of clothes
Put away the clothes I folded last night

Now, we're going to storytime/by the surgeon's for a new syringe.

I called to see if I could safely sterilize it and they said just come get another one. But it's just a few minutes from my house and right behind the library. Super convenient.

And we're home.

TDD:
Hang up the laundry
Start another load
15 minutes picking up in living room

Then lunch or snack and 15 minutes of craft time.

I so need to do this but I don't want to bc that entails climbing the ladder in the garage and getting the bins down and moving into the fall side of clothing and its so nice here I just want to hang on to my lovely summer colored clothes for just a bit longer.

Mmm it smells so good in here. My canning is mini compared to kras but I like doing it anyhow. Six quarts of pie filling canned, six -seven pints of applesauce cooking, one apple crisp in oven and almost everything is cleaned up. GILBERT helped me by peeling half the apples for me. It was fun to work together.

I don't walk my trails right now cause they are so overgrown. so I walk my driveway and part of the yard that has low grass. I try and get in 10 loops but it's hard to remember how many I've done....so I finally figured out that I put 10 small rocks in my pocket and each time I pass my front door I drop a rock. Now no more confusion. (or cheating )

According to my pedometer that equals 3500 steps. I try and get over 10000 a day.

I walk 1.5 miles any day I get Archer at school. Usually pulling two kids in a wagon. Can't say it's the exercise I'd pick, but at least I'm getting some in now. And occasionally (like yesterday) I have to run part of the way!

Cher, that is a serious coffee machine! I don't drink coffee, but it bet it would froth an amazing hot chocolate!

Yay for walking, I'm getting out today while it's moderately warmer. I tend to sleep better and my legs aren't so achy if I get a walk in.

Oh my, it must be the tooth fairies lucky day

Paula, I'm with you, you would think they would have given you a few as to not reuse them at all.

Hi Angie!

I started reading a new book series, and lets just say I get easily addicted and can't put it down! So my craft time is suffering, but as ivy been having a few not so great days I think I need some down time. I sure am hoping I'm not getting an intolerance to gluten, it seems my belly this week isn't liking food, and I've been having a ton of Pinza and BBQ's at the fair. Good thing its only once a year. Ed said I can't eat fair food until Saturday to give my belly a break. Im doing total soft foods today. Yuck!

I have to do it every 4-6 hours and after I eat for a few weeks so I don't think there's anyway to not reuse them. And I'm fine with it as long as it's all my germs and my hygeine. Not okay with Ezra's germs and hygeine!

Hugs on your food issues! I hope it's not a gluten issue, too.

Sheets are done and bed is made. Whites in the dryer and towels in the washer. I've made several trips from the dining room to the craft room. And I made a Tuscan bean salad with kale for dinner tonight.

Dh signed us up for a cruise next month. I've never been on one. Kinda anxious and kinda excited. Gotta find out what to pack! Gotta get a passport!!!

Coffee? Can't decide. I would have to remove the braces, drink the coffee and then brush my teeth. Not sure it's worth it. But, also don't want to deal with a caffein headache!

Where are you cruising to Cher? What ship? They are awesome! We will be gold members after our second day of this cruise. The next level they do laundry for you but for now we just get a captains party with free adult beverages

Eta, go very soon for passports, they take a while.

This is a free cruise that we got for listening to a vacation plan spiel. Of course it's costing us to upgrade to a room with a balcony. Otherwise we would have been inside lower deck. Ugh, not for me! I gotta feel like I can escape if I have to!!! It on carnival. I think we are going for 5days. And I know cancan is one of the stops.

And because I have procrastinated we are gonna have to pay extra for an expedited passport.
