You'll probably be doing that on Wednesday. The project.

Could you pick me up a yellow bag of Young pecans while you're there...pop them in the mail to me also because I will probably get them sooner that way...I've been out for a week now...and they are a health snack...with raisins (don't gag mrslaird...)

I've got a bag of sea salted almonds. Where would I find your pecans? Is YOUNG the brand or the age?

Last time I got pecans, I thought they were 'spensive.

Pecans too woody tasting for me for a snack.

Wud y'all believe they didn't have the jumbo bags of Hershey Kisses when I was just in Sam's yesterday?

geez.

I was thinking I would make PB blossom cookies...and use kisses for Halloween treat bags.

I need to pick something off my inventory that I want to do.

I keep this up...my eyes gonna roll outta my head.

Today is a teacher in-service day - no school for the kids! Woohoo!!! Jeff did go back to work so it's just me and the munchkins.

The must do's:
Grocery store
Pumpkin craft with the kids
Wave lulav and etrog

Text Aunt Charlotte that we'll come by later this week
Get packages ready and go to Post office
Put away laundry
Read Bible

The should do's:
5 min focused cleaning in as many rooms as possible - living room, Amelia's room, kitchen
Vacuum and sweep
Pay bills - flood insurance
Email FSA receipt
Cook chickens so Jeff doesn't have to grill when he gets home
Declutter

The want to do's:
Finish cards I started yesterday
Make an anniversary card for my brother & sil and mail it
Photograph and upload
Bake cookies for neighbor
Sew
Knit
Take the kids to Barnes and Noble - last chance for Ezra's free cupcake
Figure out my gift crafting for the next few weeks - Amelia's birthday and BFF's baby shower
Paint my nails

Some things it would be nice to do:
Change signature
Figure out how to put HYCCT blinkie on my blog
Order tie dye supplies
Work on coupons more
Look for solid lotion recipe
Get a milkshake
Make a couple of PL cards before i forget what I wanted to do

Ps - there is no way in heck this is all happening and I am a-ok with that, I just want to remember what it was I wanted to do to start with

In the baking aisle? I know they are usually not in the snack area by the chocolate!!!!

Young is part of the description...Yellow is the color of the bag...there are also green pecans but those aren't as good for snacking...

I know cause when kracousin was here one time she had the Yellow pecans and I had the Green pecans...and well...Yellow won...

But...edith199...don't take that personally because if I had a choice between eating Yellow pecans or you...I'd eat you right up (laughing as I say that cause last night we talked about comments that adults say to children that make no sense...and one of them was...you are so sweet I could eat you right up!)

Buzzer...

Good morning! I had thought I posted earlier but I don't see it.

Ouch Paula! Hope there is nothing wrong and it's just healing differently then the other side.

I didn't realize there were different pecans. I just have always bought the big bag at SAMs. Its odd they didn't have the big bags of kisses, that's where we get them too.

I didn't sleep well, was up until after 2.
Today
Kitchen routine
Garden routine done
Laundry started
Strip beds, wash and remake
Started reading a really good book yesterday called rock chicks...I'm sure I'll finish that today.

Sam's carries 2 different kinds of pecans...which color of bag do you have?

I currently have green in the freezer so if I really wanted them as a snack I could go get some...but...the yellow are so much tastier for snacking...

And...yes they are expensive but...when they last for 2 months then $11 doesn't seem like so much...

I would like a nap...but...that list is still needing some doing...

I actually had to go look, my pecans are in a black bag, my walnuts in a yellow bag and Almonds blue. I really didn't know there was a difference, but then I only use them for cooking and not normally snacking.

Good evening! Oh, I just heard my self say that in my head. It sounded like Count Dracula....Goooood EEEEvaning! Anyway! Good evening! School was unbelievable long today...but I had a bunch of laughs in one class. I got a test tomorrow, but it's open book and I really can't study for it. Another open book test on Thursday and two NOT open book tests next week. My weekend will involve me with my nose in a book this weekend coming.

I am so tired! I could go to bed now and sleep for a week!

Kramomma...I do not like doggy kisses either. Yuck! I think its because I think about where they were probably just licking. Eww. My mom's dog is a licker...but she don't like me because she knows I hate it.

I got a bunch of homework to do tonight...not really sure how much is actually going to get done...but I have to attempt it. I think I will just have to stay up a little later tonight after the kids go to bed and get it done. Plus start studying a little for those tests next week. I really feel that I have too much on my plate this term...

I hope you all can understand this post! It feels like I have been just rambling on with a bunch of random thoughts!

Patricia, I'm sure you'll do awesome on your tests!

I think I'm going to soak my twitching muscles in the jacuzzi as dh is just on his way home from work and Ashlyn won't be home sounds like a good time to get comfy and relax for the evening. I know dh will want to anyway, he has a big inspection tomorrow.

You sounded like Count Dracula in my head, too.

Totally comprehensible, but hugs on the term load! I had one semester like that and it was tough. And I wasn't a mom or partner then so I had it way easier! But just do your best and it will all turn out okay! And sometimes sleep is really more important. Hugs! You are AMAZING!

I think I will heed your advice, Paula, and hit the sack the same time as the kids do (9:30). I don't have class until 10:30 in the morning, so I will shower and pack my lunch then. I got everything else done tonight and the only thing I didn't get done was a half a chapter of reading. I'll do that tomorrow, it should be ok. I will have some time after my test anyway. She gives us 2 hours but I am usually done after 1 hour...

The reading that I did tonight (and the reading that I will do after my test) is a part of the prep for the open book test on Thursday and the not open book test next week. So, I am not only doing the required readings for this week (it was supposed to be done for today) but I am prepping for the test, too.

I know that if I continued reading tonight I would have been just glazing it and not absorbing the info...so tomorrow would be better anyway!

9:30 will be here in 13 minutes, and the kids still need to do the bathroom routine...so I will wish you all good dreams and good night! I will go have a relaxing sleep listening to the hard, hard rain that is pouring out of the heavens. I really do sleep better with the sound of the rain.

Pecans too woody tasting for me for a snack.
We learned today that walnuts make the best snacking nuts. Pecans are higher in saturated fat. I should clairify, walnuts make the best heart healthy nut snack.

Where did the day go????? well I guess we were in Wausau for almost four hours. Got three loads of laundry hung on the lines and removed. Need to get them put away.
Breakfast lunch eaten and cleaned up and then we ate at taco johns. Egads, the sodium counts are out of this world.

Got my forty card order all wrapped and in the mail and went to the eye doctor to find out my new glasses I will order in December will cost over eight hundred dollars and that is with the insurance portions already allotted. I can hardly take that in.

Hugs to everyone that needs them! And it sounds like everyone does!

Cher, waiting on UPS is no fun. If you don't see any movement for 24 hours - assuming you can track it - call them!

Janeen, yikes! Jeff's glasses were $600 with insurance. It was one reason he wanted LASIK. Hope they are AMAZING!

Joyce, hugs!!!!

I like almonds or cashews or pistachios most for snacking, but I do like pecans. Walnuts are okay, but probably last on my list. Right now, I like pudding.

Awake and waiting for company to get up...plan was to get up at 4:30 AM...so far...I'm the only one awake though I did hear a little one squawk...no lights on in the camper...

Didn't think to stop the coo-coo clock that coo-coo's every 30 minutes...or the clock that chimes every 15-minutes...and Pink Snuggles is on the pull-out loveseat in the living room! Poor girl...I don't recall ever forgetting when other people sleep out there...

We all sleep with doors open so we are used to sleeping through it but when you are in the same room I would think you hear it more often...
