I only change mine where there is potential info that folks would want to steal.

My daughters wisdom teeth was much the same way, she came home and wanted to have dinner a few hours later. I was much like Cher in lots of pain, but I think my top ones were impacted. I just remember my eyes being almost swollen shut and in bed for a few days.

Cher, I had braces, cost quite a bit for not working. I ended up having veneers put on my front 4 teeth to fix them. After all the pain of braces they shifted back after a few years anyway.

Oh wow, that's a bummer! I'm told that these days most people have a permanent wire put behind their lower teeth and a retainer to wear for the top. I was told that the retainer would wean down to once a month. But, I figure I would wear mine at least once a week. Since I'm home alone a lot, why not. I'm told my teeth aren't that bad. I have 10 trays that I will wear for 2 weeks(give or take) each so 20 weeks.

My teeth ere perfectly straight, I just had the gap between the front teeth that made me self conscious. They closed it, has a retainer for 2 years then they said I would be good, but they went back. So now I have perfect front teeth, and very white and don't have to worry about staining. It was only my top, bottom are perfect.

I have no info for anyone to steal...my computer is used for internet use and email...I don't order on-line but I do have names and addresses in my email section.

The KRA's have "permanent" retainers on their bottom teeth...that aren't always so "permanent" for Pink Snuggles...she has now been told that if it comes off again that she will need to get a retainer that she will sleep in just as she does the top one...Kub has had no problems and Red Bear only a few times...They all have the same orthodontist so he isn't the problem!

Krapoppa had braces 3 times and his teeth still have a space on his bottom and he can not eat anything that has to be bitten off because his teeth don't close together!

Back to the apples for me...

I used to have perfectly straight teeth, but they all shifted during my pregancies - which is a big reason why my wisdom teeth were bothering me, they moved around, too. But I'm probably too cheap/lazy to get braces now.

These were all impacted, Joyce, one in a rather gnarly way, but I'm shocked at how decent I feel! They do have me on soft foods for a week so I imagine that will get real old real fast, but I'm sooooo grateful all the same.

Happened today:
Mashed potatoes
Ran dishwasher
Washed clothes
Straightened up 10 minutes in kitchen
Gathered library books
Jeff took kids to story time
Took antibiotic and did mouth rinse x1

Next:
Sew snack bags for 15 minutes - FUN!
Put out laundry - might take me a few trips, I don't think I can carry a whole wet load
Pick up 50 things in living room

Something fun/restful again

And, as you probably already guessed, I am home from school! This was another long day...tomorrow is only a short day with a massage afterward so it will be good tomorrow!

No homework for me tonight! YAY! Jarod got his done and Nick just has to read a book. He is an excellent reader so he should have that done in 1.5 minutes flat!

I am so tired that I could just go to bed right now and sleep the whole night. I don't think the kids would appreciate having to go to bed this early, though!!

PAULA -- Glad you are feeling better than you thought you would!

lol I'm so glad Ashlyn is soon to be 22 so I can officially declare I'm off booger duty! She is soooo on her own!

Speaking of movies and such....did anyone watch the new Fox tv show Headless Horseman? I watched it today on my iPad, it was pretty good although the war flash backs had some bloody scenes. I pulled the chase out and enjoyed some Sun and thought I'd check out a new show before I start my next book.

I made Pineer Women's apple dumpling recipe today, they are much sweeter then the recipe I posted the other day, but also have much more gooey stuff in the bottom of the pan, good but I'm sure not good for you. I did substitute truvia for the sugar, but only had regular Mountain Dew to use.

There's something to be said about emotional support, encouragement and accountability (too bad I couldn't think of another "e" word!)...it has served me well for 8 years...

I wouldn't be able to keep up with my house and canning 8 years ago...and be dealing with life as I am now...

BUT...

I thank you ladies for helping me in those 3 main areas of my life...(purple puddles)

14 pints of applesauce finished...now to clean the kitchen and get ready to process apple butter...it is smelling YUMMY in my house again today...

Pink Snuggles did several of my errands in town so I have gone no where again today...actually this week with the exception of one hour I have been home since Sunday at noon...had a lot of fun right here...

Now...clean that kitchen Momma!

I went out for my walk today and a creeper van drove by, I had to call my husband and tell him in case I disappeared. Im talking old red van, no windows, older guy with shaggy white hair on a dirt road only locals even know is there! Creeped me out! Now dh is back to wanting me to get a permit to carry a small hand gun. Ugh!

Do it! Don't be a victim! This way you will be able to walk and not be scared. Don't let the creeps take your enjoyment of life away.

Also find a friend to walk with!

Thankful he didn't stop!

I don't like guns but I do believe in the freedom to carry...

29-half pints of apple butter finished...

14-pints of applesauce finished...

Plus what I did yesterday...2 bushels of free apples...the apple butter did cost me to add sugar and spices...plus lids for all jars...

But...cheap, cheap, cheap...

AND...FUN, FUN, FUN...

Yay for full jars!

Boo for getting creeped out!

I'm feeling a little run down. Nothing terrible, but I can tell I'm on the tail end of my pain med. I need to eat something so I can take the next round.

Happened today:
Mashed potatoes
Ran dishwasher
Washed clothes
Straightened up 10 minutes in kitchen
Gathered library books
Jeff took kids to story time
Took antibiotic and did mouth rinse x1
Sew snack bags for 15 minutes - FUN!
Put out laundry - it's pretty grey and the air is damp so I decided to use the dryer instead
Pick up 50 things in living room
Read Bible - RESTFUL
Sew for another 15 - FUN
Work on a card - FUN
Fold clothes 15 minutes
Vacuum - Ezra was napping so I swept the entrance instead
Lunch/Pain med
Baked cookies for two of the neighbors - one just moved in today and another is going on a trip
Washed another load of clothes
Multiple times outside with kids/bikes/dog
Finished a card
Placed SSS order - took me forever to decide!
Pumpkin pies in the oven

TDD:
Eat, take meds
Declutter coupons 15 minutes
Knit or stamp or sew

Hi all. Sorry I've been mia today.

Had to take dd2 to work this am then
to college to teach a class then
a couple of errands then
pick up dd2 then pick up car then
another 2 errands then
home to start packing things for the trip then
dh home then
to near-by town for cheaper gas (and to find the phone # for more dirt for my new flower beds) and dinner then
home again then
load of clothes in washer.

I've tried to catch up with everyone but my brains are tired and I just can't. I still have several other things to do that just may get written down on my list for tomorrow.

Rest well all.
