Good morning! Hugs and prayers for Lee! Crazy weather is not fun.

Hugs and prayers for Melissa and anyone else not feeling up to snuff!

kramomma, I have to agree on smoking and drinking, but depending on the movies one sees I think it can have positive experiences. I have many happy memories of going to the movies and there have definitely been movies that have helped me be a better person. Now, just any old movie at $10 a pop, no thanks.

They just called to confirm my appointment tomorrow. Fun times.

Someone helped me spill an entire mug of joe on the couch so the laundry is going and the cushion covers are being washed.

I'm good Angie. Thanks for asking. How are you feeling? I feel this weather change, but the more I move the better I feel.

And thanks for mentioning my tags in the favorites thread, just saw that, and need to add mine now. I really need to do a better job at gallery looking.

Paula you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!!! Not a fun week for all of you...Jeff is having or had something this week too, right?

I love going to the movies!!!! Life can be very exhausting and if you choose the right movie, what a wonderful refreshment! Alas, cannot go to many since the cost is so high!

The last thing you need, coffee all over the couch! which one of your helpers assisted?

He cancelled his appointment! And thank you! As long as I don't get dry socket or one of the 5% chance of complication issues it will be fine. Not pleasant, but fine.
Ezra helped. By kicking the entire cushion straight in the air from the floor. Which drives me bonkers even when there isn't coffee on it. But. They really needed to be washed anyway.
I'm supposed to be thinking of a Star Wars craft for him. I have an entire book of Star Wars crafts, but since making a felt doll isn't on my list of things to do today and we don't have any good painting rocks, I'm not quite sure what we'll end up with.

Good morning y'all!

Moving slow. As usual. I only got a few things done yesterday. Because I got caught up in card making.

So today
Drink more coffee
Make bed
Do mini mission
Empty dishwasher
Layout something for dinner
Do 4 days worth of bible study for tomorrow!
Unpack
Get laundry going
Then maybe I can get to my cards.

Nooooooo, no coffee abuse allowed. Well at least you can make more. Right?! at least it wasn't an expensive Starbucks coffee, was it?

I haven't read the book. Maybe I'll check out the library today and see if they have it. It could be one of the books I take with me next week.

Paula - sorry that the coffee got spilled. That can be a bummer for sure. I am glad that the cushions had covers on them so it wasn't as big an issue as it could have been.

Melissa - glad you could get an appointment for today. Hopefully they will give you all kinds of good things that will make you feel so much better in the morning. I know that steroids help me a lot and they work quickly.

Kra & Angie - I love going to the movies, though I don't get to go very often. Years ago when "Thin Red Line" came out we went to a conference and decided to go to the movie instead of one of the classes. We paid for a hotel room and the drive of 4ish hours to go see a movie that was playing in our home town. LOL

Angie - What kind of movies do you like? I DO.NOT.like horror movies. I don't sleep well after and for days or longer, especially if they are even loosely based on real-life events. We seem to like military, history, comedy, relationship kinds of movies.

Ok, I've started. Decided to do a few things and then do a day of bible study as to not get foggy brain.

So next up,
empty dishwasher
then day 2 of bible study.

I am doing a Beth Moore study called The Patriarchs.

Okay, not only did I do all of that but I also put up pots n pans. Washed a pan and spoon I missed last night cause it was in the island sink. Loaded breakfast dishes into dishwasher.

Next up
Lunch
Day 3 of study
Then vacuum once again and mop. Rain is wonderful but it does cause a lot of dirt clods and mud in the house from the dogs.

Cher - what is the study about? I have done her Esther and am working on her Breaking Free, the Journey, the Stories study now. I did the Esther study with a group at dd1's church but the other is one I'm doing with a SCS friend from another thread. I may have to check out the one you're doing and see if we want to do it next .

I agree with you. I think she uses her stories as a testiment to help us to understand what she's trying to teach us. I use "war stories" in some of my classes and "family stories" in others to help give examples of what I'm teaching. I think that helps to put it into more real-life/relatable thought.

So eariler I was getting ready to and had typed some things on a list but was side tracked by a phone call. My car was put in the shop for one of those stupid lights. They called and it will be $712+ to get it fixed. OMG!!! I had to wake the hubs and let him call them back. We were expecting it to be fixed and ready to pick up today, yeah, what was I thinking...it won't be ready until tomorrow or Thursday. DH is working days 6am - 6pm in a neighboring county so I have to come up with a way to get to work on those 2 days. Got that covered now for both days if needed. DH had told them to fix the 1 thing that is under warranty and we'd pick it up today then bring it back on Friday. I nixed that...we're going on vacation for a week on Saturday and I'm not taking chances that it won't be ready for us to leave. (his truck uses way too much gas to drive 200+ miles each way)

So now I'm back and I have

1. done am routine
2. made arrangements for transportation for 2 days, if needed (I hope I get it back tomorrow)
3. mini-mission - way more than 10 items
4. print off packing list

5. pull some things for packing
6. take care of laundry in dryer
7. put next load in washer

8. dry/etc #7
9. take book back to the library & check out more
10. take some cat food back and exchange it for other - stupid cat is becoming extremely picky and needy to the point of causing me hives
11. get mail into the house
12. do today's Bible study
13. post my comments ref last week's study
14. get things ready for class tomorrow night
15. get things ready for class for the Monday after we get back (we'll be coming back on Sunday but we are in a conference on Monday - Wednesday, Tuesday night will be a dinner meeting as well)
16. dd2 will be home at 3ish to help get some of neighbor's dirt to fill in flower beds

That will be a huge start for the day, especially since it is already nearly 1pm.

Hey! Checking in. Making grilled cheese for lunch then we need to go to the store for supplies. After that it will probably be time to get Archer and then I'm hoping to take the kids to Barnes and Noble for a free cupcake that will cost me $6 (because only Ezra's is free) and to pick a craft magazine or two for tomorrow.

I cleaned all the crumbs out of the couch, put the cushions back on, folded two loads of laundry and put half of it away, cleaned up the counters some, and picked up the crayons that Amelia is now tossing back on the floor.

List for the rest of the day:
Lunch
Fold the rest of the clothes
Put all of it away
Send my dental receipt to the FSA peeps
HEB
Pick up Archer
Go to BN
Supper
Pick up
Try to chill
Eat something crunchy and or sticky
Place Ellen order, try to decide on Simon

Oh good grief! Darn spell check!
I guess part of the problem is my fat fingers hitting wrong keys and spell check taking over.

Zack and mommy are coming home tomorrow! Yay!! I missed that guy. Kids close on their house Friday morning. Ds has taken Friday , Monday and Tuesday off to make the move. I think they hope to have most of their stuff at their house by then.

I'll be spending a few days with them helping clean out drawers and cabinets before they fill them.

Donna, that stinks! We have an airbag light on in the jeep. Of course it can only be fixed and reset by an authorized dealer. Ed expects that to cost around 600$. They want to charge 80$ just to diagnose it. How nuts is that!

Cher, how fun! I might be one of the racy ones, but I love moving and packing and cleaning closets. Have fun! Of course its a good time to offer to babysit if you don't like doing all that.

Patricia, nice would have been letting you off with a warning. Here in the states you can ask for a hearing, if they don't show up they automatically dismiss the case. I've only had one ticket, and I was going 70 in a 55 so deserved it. Then was pulled over on my way to raise money for Katrina and he let me go. That was nice! Lol

Have I missed out? I don't doubt it. Is your dh looking for a new job?

Hi all, just quickly scoped and scanned. Left early for eye dr and didnt get home til two thirty.

Hope Lee is okay and Melissa, I hope she doesn't have pneumonia. Ick for spilled coffee , yay for mini missions.

Speaking of coffee I got a very slightly used tassimo at the resale shop for thirty six dollars and it makes hotter coffee than the one we have, so glad I bought it but I did check first to see if could be returned if I found it to be faulty. Grat deal! I iwill take our old one to DD so when I go there i won't feel deprived using her kuering.

Gotta run. Got WHB to do upstairs and down. Later taters

The Patriarchs sounds interesting. I need a good Bible Study. Just doing my own thing doesn't get done enough.

Home from getting Archer. I'm going to look for that cupcake email and then I think head to the bookstore.

Finished my study. I think we are going out to eat. So, I'm just working on cards until then.
