I think I will case one of Lees cards first thing today! I'm so excited for her, wish I could google chat her now, but she would be less then thrilled with the time I'm sure!

No plans for the day. Just a normal day. May clean the jeep. Depending on the weather. My neck and hip hurt p, and was up way early, so I'm thinking it might rain.

janeenk 09-01-2013 04:36 AM

Morning. Happy Stamptember. Woot for Lee. Luv her work always. Still haven't had a chance to CASE Joyce. A well i can do it on my own.

SEPTEMBER! Oh my word, can hardly take that in where was i June, July and August, they went by, way.too.quickly!

kramomma 09-01-2013 04:43 AM

Congrats to the lovliest of all stampers! Luv her cards...and seeing them IRL is nicer than you can imagine on-line...I've learned more than 2 things from her.

I have no mojo as stamping desire is called...not sure when it left but hope it returns sooner than later or my life is going to be quite boring...

Today...going south for church...90 minutes...meat and cheese are sliced...apples are ready with a slicer...not sure when we will get home...but the dogs will be in the kennels...thankful that it won't be too hot for the outside dog as part of the day she will have a difficult time finding shade!

imthenoni 09-01-2013 04:53 AM

Congratulations to Lee!!! How exciting.

I so agree...Where did the summer go? Did I sleep it away or what because I certainly don't remember much of what I did during my summer.;)

imthenoni 09-01-2013 05:02 AM

Good morning everyone~ And Happy September!

I know there is much I need to be doing today but little I really want to do so I'm going to have to list it and may wind up TDD today to get it done.

So I'm going to start with the list it and see how that works.

1. up - check
2. breakfast

3. am meds (makes me sound like a druggie but they are all vites & 1 allergy pill)
4. clear off kitchen counter - just put things away

5. clear off table - again just put things away
6. design ds's invitation overlay
7. print 40 copies of #6
8. wash blanket on bed
9. sort clothes to wash after dh gets home form work (that way I have everything washed)
10. do Day 1 of Bible study
11. do Day 2 of Bible study
12. do Day 3 of Bible study (that will catch me up)
13. help dh change the tire on the trailer so I can lay bricks tomorrow
14. wash 2 loads of clothes - Nope 3 loads & 1 is in the washer now
15. change bed
16. wash sheets
17. pick up livingroom (mostly put shoes away)
18. pick up dinning room
19. finish a swap and package to mail on Tuesday
20. set up daily meds boxes for dh & me for the week

I think that will about do it but as I work through the day there may be more added, I know how I am. LOL

You took care of other people...and when you weren't doing that you were educating other people...well...at least that is my observation through the computer screen! :D

Time for Pink Snuggles to play with my hair before we leave ;)

Thanks Kra - I had not thought of it that way. I guess we don't see things so clearly sometimes when we're so close to it.

GOOD MORNING!!!!! It's fall y'all! I had my fall wreath up before 8am. I'm using my Renfest mug. Wearing plaid. This fall is a little bittersweet for me with school, but I can't do a darn thing about the bitter part so WOOHOO to the sweet! I LUV me some fall!!!!! I. Am. Excited.

ashjoy 09-01-2013 06:45 AM

Lol, I'm excited as well Paula! I have my dining room decorated and will do my mantle today as well.

edith199 09-01-2013 06:53 AM

I.can't.believe.it's.September!!

(that's for Misti's boys :D)

and we're in for a warm week... Loving it while it lasts!

The house is quiet and in decent condition considering all things. DD2s friends were great in picking up after themselves and now all I have left is a set of swim clothes from ... one of the guests  Hopefully DD2 will recognize them and know to whom they belong.

DD2 is working her next to last shift this morning - I expect her home in about 1/2 hour and then she'll get herself ready for worship. I'm heading down shortly. It'll be one of those 3 family members with 2 cars kinda mornings.

I, too, feel a feeling of renewal.

Did you decide on the apple dishcloth? (I might work it with ya.)

SANKS!! Now that just totally made my day!!!! And let me tell you.....with the rude awakening at o-dark-thirty that happy news was even more welcome!!!! At 4:00 a.m......I woke up for a bathroom trip.....yep, I have a few during the night. And as I climbed over hubby (the camper is a nice size but it is still smaller than home! ;) ) my foot squished into wet!!! The very edge of the carpeting into the bedroom was wet!! I stepped into the hall/kitchen/diningroom/door area....yeah remember it IS a camper! LOL And puddles!!!! Everywhere!!!!

I had to wake up hubby cuz I had no clue what had happened! He looks around....we turn on all the lights....the bathtub is overflowing!!!! But why??? He finds the tiny bathroom sink faucet on just a little. So obviously on my last trip up I just hadn't turned off the faucet all the way. Who knows what happened? My bad wrist? Half asleep? Whatever the reason I felt HORRIBLE!!!! Still do....:(. So we sopped up what we could with the towels we have....went inside but his folks were asleep so we couldn't sneak in and get more towels. He had to drain the gray water tank...thankfully we're in an area that we could!

Then I took the Clorox wipes and cleaned the whole floor and our shoes. And my feet! Fans are running to help dry out the little bit of carpet and the floor really well. We got a couple more hours of sleep...but...well....you know how it goes. The guilty do not sleep well.

Moral of the story? I guess I will be triple checking every faucet from now on!!! AND....thank GOODNESS for a few Flylady tips that stuck in my head! I had just tidied up a bit yesterday afternoon and had put James' computer up on the little couch! So there wasn't much on the floor itself we had to worry about!!

LuvLee 09-01-2013 06:59 AM

And NOW onto the fact that I totally forgot it's September!!!!! And I've been WAITING for this since June!!!! Me no likey summer!!!! Yaaaay Fall!!!!!

I probably won't do it right now. Rosh haShanah is the 4th and 5th. I'm almost certain I won't finish by then. Most of my knitting is at night after the kids are in bed while Jeff and I watch tv and, well, it's not the best time to be figuring things out! ;) And I have a lot of sewing to do. One of my best friends is having a baby pretty much any time in the next three weeks and I want to make her some burp cloths. Ezra's birthday is in two weeks and I'm making him an R2D2 fleece applique blanket. I want to make snack bags for Archer, the kids next door, and the twins down the street and if I do that you know I've got to make them for Ezra and Amelia, too. ;) I need to get most of my sewing done before Oct so I can focus on HYCCT, ya know?! Oh, and I might make some jedi robes! I *think* I have some brown fabric from years ago and if I do jedi robes here we come!

But I will make it sometime! Just maybe november instead of right now. Need to finish up my coffee cozy. Start another. :)

Happy, happy, happy, happy, happy, happy, happy, happy, happy, happy. Fall busy is happy busy! Summer busy is hot. ;) :) :D

mrslaird 09-01-2013 07:14 AM

Oh Lee! HUGS girl!!!! Hope it all dries out asap!!!!!!! Don't feel bad! It's not like you're my kids and you just walked away thinking that maybe it would turn itself off. ;) :) We all do stuff like that sometimes! And hey, it's not July! :D

ashjoy 09-01-2013 07:25 AM

Oh Lee, I'm so sorry. But sounds like the damage was minimal. Hope the rest of the trip has been fun. Ill tell you my water story sometime......lets just say huge insurance claim that's still not totally fixed.....

All decorated for fall. Ed thinks I have lots of stuff, but there are areas that still need a fall touch.

mrslaird 09-01-2013 08:24 AM

So far I have cheerfully cleaned up the green crayon in the bathroom from Amelia, bought groceries, had breakfast, made plans for the day, tried out my new felt glue, and just generally been in a good mood. ;)

ashjoy 09-01-2013 08:35 AM

What kind of felt glue? I hate when you can see where you put the glue. How did it work Paula?

I made and blogged Lee's card.

I just did it and it takes at least an hour to dry so full report later, but it's Beacon Felt glue and it's recommended by American Felt and Craft, which is a nice felt store. It was easy to use, no smell that I noticed, and it's even made in the US. :)

imthenoni 09-01-2013 09:00 AM

Oh goodness Lee. What a surprise that must have been. Hopefully it will be all dry and and better very soon.

pcousins13 09-01-2013 09:08 AM
