Morning lovelies! I'm tired this morning. I didn't get less sleep than ususal so who knows. Maybe I was running in my dreams and don't remember.

I have a lot of places I'd like to get to this week, but I don't think I can get to all of them without a lot of stress and I'm not a nice mommy when I'm stressed. I'll try to figure out a reasonable plan while I caffeinate.

Well, I'm not sure how reasonable it is, but we'll see how today goes.

First:
Shower and dress
Load dishwasher, run
Fold clothes for 15 minutes, put away

Good morning.

I had a cookie, and milk, should have chose better. I'm not feeling so good after the cookie.
How long does it take for the flu to go away?! It will be a week tomorrow. I still feel like I could sleep the day away.

I did my kitchen routine this morning, a load of laundry and showered.

Plan
When I feel like moving make a card for HYCCT. I haven't done a thing yet.

I ate 2 and don't feel so great either...

As for the flu...are you sure you didn't get something on the cruise? It has been years since we have had the flu at our house so I have no clue...but...I gag at the thought...

I'm sure I got it in the cruise as it hit the day after we got home. I still feel warm, but just a low grade fever. 100.9, lost 5 pounds so I'm sure it's just a combination of not enough intake and being a bit dehydrated. Trying to rest and drink. Ed even did my floors for me over the weekend. I've been taking over the counter flu meds and Tylenol I was hoping I wouldn't need it today, but in thinking it might just be best to stay ahead of it at this point. I don't feel bad enough to go to the dr, besides it don't think they would do anything different at this point. Things always just seem to hit me harder then anyone else in the house. Ed had one day where he didn't feel good and took some Tylenol and went to bed early for him, and woke up fine. Not that I wish this on anyone, just saying my luck sucks!

Good morning ladies, I just thought I'd check in with all of you since I haven't been here in a while.
Hope you are feeling better soon Ashjoy, it's no fun being sick and especially for that long.

Well, today I am hoping to get my cards done for my upcoming class on Friday.
Then I have to go through all my craft stuff that I want to get rid of and price it out and have it ready for my upcoming yard sale. There's a lot of stuff so wish me luck on getting it done.

I've forgotten what the October theme is for our cards, can anyone please remind me.
Thanks

Well, I will you all a very happy and blessed day.

Joyce, I sure hope you get to feeling better soon! We haven't had the flu here (knock on wood!) so I'm not sure what the "normal" time is.

Morning!!!

Joyce, I hope you feel better! I worry about you ....you don't have 5 lbs to lose!!!!

I am enjoying a cup of coffee, not for the need of wake up...I finally got 7 hours last night! It's CHILLY here though and coffee seems like just the ticket!

Today might be hump day for most but it's MONDAY for me. Steve had Mon/Tue off so I have TONS of MONDAY kind of work waiting for me. I plan to do as much as I can for the next 2 hours and then work on a card for HYCCT maybe.

Have several errands to run before picking up DD....

and that's my day!

Aggghh!!! I know what stamp I want to use! It came to me while I scrolled a list of fairy tales but....I would like to take and make a rather stark castle more feminine....but FIRST, I must be disciplined and go clean a bathroom, vacuum, laundry, move couches and clean under them....... waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Wish I could have a maid for the month October! Anyone else with me on that?

I am the maid...but I am not willing to give up the position and go work some place for hire...

This morning china dishes were waiting for me...along with all the cooking dishes and fancy glasses! Nicely stacked but still dirty!

It was after 11 PM when company left last night...when we decided to have this special feast it was agreed that I would not fuss about having the kitchen clean when I went to bed but I knew it was important to me that it be "organized"...

The dishes were all stacked neatly, anything that could go into the dishwasher did and it was run as I headed off to bed...and the pans had all been "rinsed" enough so that washing and drying dishes this morning could be done in an hour!

That's the plan to do the dishes in 15-minute sessions...I'll wash and someone else will dry...

I'll be back later for the rest of my list!

Mini mission accomplished while I let the scrubbing bubbles work so I don't have toooooooo. (tv commercial voice) They lie so much, I certainly have to scrub but I do like those scrubbing bubbles.

****

I am just dancing, dancing. Silly, I know, because in the big scheme of things it really wasn't going to cost us more than 30.00. My dear one lost 2 library books in a week!!! One from the school and one from the county. I have called for price replacements, was going to write out checks today and called the school library. School librarian HAS BOTH of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (the school one showed up after I called on Monday) the county library book showed up in her library and of course she had no idea who's book it was, she was just going to return it but Monday I had told her my sad story that E had lost 2 the same week so she asked me today when I called what the name of it was and woohoo it's ours!!!

What a great day!!!!

Okay, my challenge is up and I've commented a few times. Breakfast eaten, I did a little banking, and I printed (more) star wars masks for Ezra. (That kid uses more printer ink than anyone!)

So, next up:
Shower and dress
Unload, reload dishwasher
Try to finish the card I started last night
Check the thread

Joyce - I sure hope you're feeling better. As someone else said - I'm not sure you have 5 lbs to spare so try to eat what you can and drink plenty of fluids. You certainly do not want to become dehydrated too.

Life has been busy for me so the HYCCT (I think those are the right letters in the right order) is not a possibility for me this month. I feel like I'm missing out though. Maybe next time. I hope you ladies are really enjoying your stamping fun.

I finally got to sleep light night and slept for nearly 10 hours before I knew I had to get up. I feel so much more rested than I have in DAAAYYYYSSSSSS. A bit of allergy or something going on with my nose but all in all I'm much better. The nose issue will pass.

Except for teaching tonight and getting some gas for the car before I head that way I'm not sure what exactly I will put on my plate for the day.

So far I have

Gotten up
Pulled up my side of the bed (dh worked last night so he'll be in his side for another 2 hours or so)
Eaten breakfast
Caught up with you ladies
Fed the cat

I am getting ready to

Take my morning allergy meds & vites
Walk around the house and make a list of what needs to be done the rest of the week.
Pull my CPR teaching bag for tomorrow's class
Forgot I have to go to dd1's house to feed & water her dogs, cat & chickens

I'll be back later in the day with my list of to-dos for the week.

Hope you all have a nice day today.

It is cool here and some hot tea sounds really good.

China dishes and fancy glasses only took 30 minutes to wash and dry...though I did discover I missed one bowl...

Now the "everyday" hand wash dishes are soaking for 15-minutes while I rest...have a headache (barking Dora gave me an instant headache this morning) so not moving as fast as I would like...and with the headache is the stomach in the throat feeling of gag...

I'll keep plugging away and do it FlyLady's way...and get accomplished all that I can...

Did decide store bought buns are good enough for tonight's birthday dinner if I just don't get to them on my list...

Love the no need for crackers and cheese...found a solution to what would have been a whine!

Called to tell my wise idea of buying buns for supper...and well...the birthday boy wants a ONE pound burger for his meal tonight...so...baking bread/buns moves to the top of my list today (after dishes of course!)

if we lived closer we could help each other clean. have fun, you have motivation to get your castle cleaned!

Ed had one day where he didn't feel good and took some Tylenol and went to bed early for him, and woke up fine. Not that I wish this on anyone, just saying my luck sucks!
are you sure you don't have some kind of intestinal bug that was from food you ate on the cruise? thinking of you. this seems a long time to hang on to this.

Headache is hanging on despite going back to bed twice...will continue the morning as I think of those who have headaches on a regular basis I do not know how you handle the gagginess when you need to be drinking water to help with the dehydration...

Wheat is ground...next up...start the first stage of bread making...buns may be done in time for supper at the rate I'm going...if we don't eat before 6 PM!

Don't tell anyone...but I'm still in my nightgown and robe as I'm working this morning...and I do not have on my shoes... ?

Well, I haven't finished my card yet, but it's coming along. Trying to decide whether to run a few errands or stay home and make muffins. Leaning towards muffins.

So far today:
Breakfast
Showered and dressed
Monitoring my challenge
Unloaded, reloaded the dishwasher
Washing clothes
Worked on card

Next:
Wash sink dishes
Make muffins
Mini mission
