Krapoppa's garden continues to produce work for me...last night he picked 4 ice-cream buckets of green peppers...I don't even like the flavor of green pepper but he does...SO...today I will need to freeze more...and give away some...

Pears are on the counter waiting to be changed into pearsauce today...and tomatoes will be made into sauce of some sort...and the green beans he picked last night will need some frozen, some eaten fresh...AND...raspberries were picked by flashlight last night as by the time he got to that garden it was past dusk!

Today is payday...so...a few errands...and a friend who is a government employee wants to have lunch...

No cards made for HYCCT...and probably not today...

Supper-potatoes from the garden and green beans from the garden!

Happy birthday Paula! Anything fun planned for today?

Enjoy your party Cher!

Some of my husbands colleagues asked me to go shopping with them today, we are very near Philadelphia so going to hit the streets with them. Should be fun, yesterday I spent the day shopping and eating alone. The area we are in today is a bit scarier to wonder alone. Then we will head home tonight after 8.

Good morning y'all!

The party was nice. Everyone loved the food! It's all gone. The pies were wonderful! I forgot to take pictures but the apple pie was the most beautiful I have ever made! Got to stop by the kiddos after and get my Zack fix.

Today bible study and then laundry and pack for our trip as we are now leaving tomorrow afternoon. going to Maryland for the Navy/Airforce football game.

I bet you can get it to a fifth page with just some careful restating! Church History is super confusing. And there is no way to learn it in a meaningful way when you cover that much ground quickly.

Morning y'all! Yesterday seemed so busy! I'm not really sure why, but it did. I need to focus or today will get away from me, too.

But first coffee.

It is nine o'clock, I think I better get showered and ready for the day, eh? Next week gilbert goes back to work and our schedule will get back to normal I hope. Don't have a big schedule today, will do WHB while he goes up to rehab, unless I decide to go with him just for the ride.

Ack! We lost power for an hour, and it poured rain, and the 3G stopped working. I'd love to say I just trucked along doing the things I could do cheerfully, but mostly I pouted and got flustered.
Onward and upward.

Going through the crazy stack of paper clutter on the counter and washing clothes. I hope to get in my craft before long, but we shall see.

I'm home. Great study today! It's amazing how you can read something many times and just glaze over it and then someone gets you to really look at a passage and you finally get what is being said. Scripture is so full and rich and I'm finally beginning to grow and realize that God didn't write the old testament to bore and test me. it's full of rich stories and meaning that does have actual relevance to our lives today.

I'm the opposite. I can sit and read the Old Testament and dig in and do word studies, but send me to the Epistles and I'm floudering in the deep end of the pool without my floaties. The Gospels and I get along, but the rest of the NT? Eep. Not my strong area.

And I love it all! I just love how it flows as a continuous story from beginning to end. Sometimes when we just read snatches here and there we miss the fact that it all fits together and we can get such mistaken ideas because we take one little part and miss the context. And then there's the fact that there's always MORE. You can never clean out the gold mine... it's continuous! And, and, and... I'd better stop or I'll hijack the thread but good!!

Onto my daily update...

I'm caught up with HYCCT (very important, dontcha know??!!)
I made lunch.
I have GW orders ready to go out.
I have cramps.
I need to clean up the kitchen and transfer laundry.
I need to update my to-do list
I need to do GW End of Month
I need to go to the PO, Library, Walmart
I need to decide about going to see Mom, but she got a flu shot yesterday and with my luck I'll catch it from her. But maybe that's an excuse and I'm just grumpy... (see #4 above)
I'd like to make a Flourishes card
I'd like to make an MFT card
I'd like to eat a bag of chocolate (see #4 above)

That about covers it!

Got Kevin out the door for his trip. Now, I need to refocus on my list... first up is cleaning up my craft mess a little so I can actually have a place to stamp!

And as it is a virtual bag of chocolate I am more than happy to share. In real life in my current pink, furry monster-ness, you might not be as lucky!

Notice I am not a green, hairy monster today. I am pink and furry in honor of HYCCT!

Your top part is very true and why I only used to read the Bible in order from Genesis to Revelation. It's been a while since I've managed that, however.

Hugs on #4. Many of the above sound quite pleasant and will hopefully chase the grumpies away.

As for me, I would feel much less like a loser if I could find where I absentmindedly placed Archer's homework, but on the plus side I've tossed several papers today! Grace and kindness, grace and kindness. Even to myself. Blissfully, Ezra lost his whistle.

Oooo, so sorry for Ezra... But SO happy for you! I remember being so irritated at the grandparents when they would give the kids toys that made noise... LOL!!

Let's see, where would I be if I were homework? Under a backpack? Next to the clothes he wore to school? Fallen down behind something? Under a pile of clean clothes?? What I usually do is pray about it and then go about my business. I usually find it where I NEVER would have thought to look!!

Gah, of course, the most obvious solution - to pray - has not happened. Thank you for the reminder! And it's either going to be some place I have already checked three times or someplace I would never look because I have checked all the obvious spots!

Hey Misti! My DD is going to be PM'ing you with a question. She thought I should warn you, so you didn't think she was a stalker.

hahaha!!! She sounds as sweet as her Mom... no worries about a stalker there!!! I'm pretty sure it's no big deal, but I did send a text to Kevin since he's out of town & will get his response.

I have been so busy with school lately. It seems as if all the tests and assignments come one time. I have had one assignment and three tests so far (97%, 92%, 97% and 96%) and I have another one tomorrow, one on Monday, two on Wednesday, another one at some point...but the date has not been set. Plus, Nicholas' party is supposed to be on the 12th and I haven't even started the prep for that. And, to make matters even better (*sarcastic voice*) TOM came to visit last evening...so most of last week was PMS moods! That's why I didn't comment much last week...you know, the whole "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all" thing. Well...I was not very nice last week at all! It's going away now that TOM is here, though. That's an upside to all the belly and back pain.

Well, I have to go and finish studying for the test I have tomorrow and then try to have me and the kids in bed in 20 minutes. I am so tired and I find I need more rest this time of the month!

Studying is done and I am ready to hit the sack! I'll review my jot notes (things I am having a little trouble with) tomorrow morning during Document class (we don't have much to do in that now until we get our test done next week) which is right before Organizational Behaviour. Boy was I disappointed when I found out this was a psychology course on how organizations work rather than on how to organize stuff! I figured I had this course in the bag before that realization!

Anyway, good night! Sleep tight! Don't let the kitty's bite!
