I need to see if I can make them slightly more useful.

Gas here is $2.78.

Next week is National Collection Week for the Operation Christmas Child boxes so I need to do inventory. I know I need some toothbrushes and toothpaste still. I have 8 boxes: 4 boys, 4 girls.
Wow, 8 boxes. This is my first year to do this. I only took one box.
Since I'm not sure what to do. I did take a suggestion list. I suppose I could. Uh double or triple and just fill more boxes when I get to church.

That's nothing to be embarrassed about! That's a child getting a gift! Last year I did 3, one for each of my kids. This year, I bought through the year to get a head start. I still bought a lot this last month, but I had good foundation going. It's easier to do more once you have some idea what's going on with it.

on today's agenda:

last set of winter tires (thanks to DS1 and DD1)
checking out Merle Norman... DDILs want to get the girls' ears pierced... cousin bonding and I've been asked to go along for moral support
and then up to Cross Iron Mills for some shopping (the whole gang is going on this adventure), lunch out and then we'll send the one family on their way north. It's been a great weekend - I love having my kids all together

Hello everyone. I'm feeling a bit better today, thankfully. It's another busy day.

So far I have
breakfast
am meds
am routine

Go to college, make changes to a test
print the test
go to fire dept
administer test
back to college (glad it is only a mile or so)
pick up 31 bag order
go see EMS boss & turn in packet
back home
catch up with you ladies
catch up with fb family and friends
eat lunch
get ready for last night of class tonight

Left to do
Go to library & trade books - forgot the library is closed today
go to Walmart & get cupcakes, etc for class tonight
be at Goodwill by 4:30 to print some certificates

Enjoy last night of class
Go by bank & leave a night deposit
send email out ref test
home
fix dinner
clean up dishes
put already washed dishes away
fold clothes washed yesterday

Hope everyone has a great day going.

I am in the process of taking all the things off the walls in the kitchen and living room in prep for the plaster touch ups and painting we will be doing. Now, before you all think that this girl has gone off the deep end and has bit off WAY more than she can chew (school, kids, now painting) when I say "we", I really mean "Brent"! LOL! Brent will not let me paint...I'm allowed to prime the walls, but I have to stay away from the color! APPARENTLY, I am not that great at it. But, I really don't mind! He can have that job if he wants it! I will be helping with the plaster, though. As soon as he can get a couple of putty knife thingies. He can't find his, and the hardware store was closed yesterday, when I got this wonderful idea, and closed today due to Remembrance Day.

I have decided to paint it a slate blue color, with brown around my cupboards. We bought a new bonded leather couch and love seat in Brown (we will get it tomorrow) so those colors should look good. I could also accent in almost any color (green, red, white, whatever).

Hello all.

Had the yucky barium swallow x ray this morning. It was rough, but got it down. Then cme home for a nap.

Its quiet in these parts.

Ran sweeper upstairs.
Emptied and loaded dishwasher
Load a day done
Took a relaxing bath and a nap
Fished a book Lee lent me.
Called to set up garage appointment for car
Called to have gas tank filled for fire place
Mini mission done

Cute jokes.

Our favorite joke this time of year is...

What kind of witch lives at the beach?

A sand witch. (Sandwich)
not exactly sure how that should be written.

So sorry for that awful test.

On a better note, Nick LOVED your joke!! He almost spit his Rice Krispies across the table! This is his third bowl of Rice Krispies and banana's today! He insist they taste better then the regular RK's (I bought the holiday ones with the red and green krispies in it because they were on sale).

They have some red, some green, and mostly regular ones. They taste EXACTLY like the regular ones. They don't turn your milk any color at all.

Joyce - sorry about the test today - they really do suck. Enjoyed your joke though. Sand witch LOL

Paula - you have been one busy mama again today.

Patricia - new counches & new paint. You'll have a new house with your remodeling/painting, etc at least it will feel that way. Love those kinds of things.

Kra - thanks for the link.

UHM...forgot I was having company at 7 PM last night...that put a major hiccup into my evening...a fun case of the hiccups but hiccups nonetheless...

That major hiccup puts a major hiccup in my day because I didn't get my baking of cookies done and now my packages will be a day later...but...still being sent priority they should arrive by Saturday to both places...

SO...last load of laundry is washing...going to meet friend to go to... Welcome to Lynn's Cake and Candy Supplies to buy mints for the wedding...am sure that is not on FlyLady's Cruise but it is on mine!

Tonight I have company at 8:15 PM...will bake 2 apple crisp while having supper...so I'll be ready...

Hmmm....when will I bake those cookies?

Good morning y'all!

Dog got me up early. moving slow! Trying to decide what to do today. Thinking about calling up the kiddos to invite myself over. I need to do some things in town. And don't want to have to come all the way back home.

Morning! It's getting chilly here! Full blown cold front in a day or two! Kinda excited.

Trying to figure out my week so I get at least one day at home.

Enjoying my coffee, waffle, and the stream of conversation from my 4 year old.
