Uhm...Wally I need to see you tonight when I'm in Faribault...can not be left with only 10 pounds of flour in the freezer (of course I have at least 40 pounds of wheat berries that I could grind wheat flour...BUT...NIGHTMARE!)

Okay...I feel much better having told SOMEONE...

Oh...and when I go to Faribault tonight I would also like to stop at Aldi...you know their mini-chocolate chips are only $1.29 a bag...and I need a few more...I'm sure I only have about 25 bags in the basement fridge...
Yikes!

Ok, you do realize that for most of us this is unimaginable. Right?!?!

I like cookies! I'll see you there!

No, it doesn't, lol! But it's done and that's good, too! Now, if I could get some dishes washed, that would show!

Well if it will make you feel better, I'll admit that: the dishwasher that I emptied today wash run before we left for our trip. The pot n pans I washed were from Tuesday. My stovetop needs some attention and I don't even want to look inside my fridge. we all fall behind at one time or another.

UHM...I did notice that your post is at 12:12 PM...you weren't even under the wire...your fingernails were scratching as you were falling and it appears someone caught you from behind!

I hope they let the errors get fixed...it wasn't easy on any person to finish the challenges...but finish they did and it would be wonderful for them to get credit where credit is due...

Back to baking...and I think someone who is assigned the task of frosting these cookies just arrived and the frosting is not made...hmmm...falling behind on my part of the task!!! Can you hear my fingernails scratching...

Washing clothes, unloaded reloaded the dishwasher, did my Queen post this morning, some comments, took care of some appointment type things, it's been a busy day already.

Cookies are frosted...now to wait for them to "dry" before I can put them on a plate...

Guess I could go make a couple of fun tags for the plates...or a card...

And...I see that there is a dispute happening about the timing of the locked thread...uhm...post #1 says 11:59 PM today...I do not like conflict...so...

I'll go away now...and breathe deeply while I make a tag or a card...or nothing...but just go away...

So glad to see happiness unfold...while that was happening and I was away...I made 3 tags (embossed even...please someone be impressed!)...and I made 3 larger tags on which I included a recipe for the apple pie filling...

Now time to fold a load of towels...and shut the sliding shade or the frosting on the cookies will become moist again!

popping in for a second. PURTY kitchen Cher!!!

Kramomma, cracking me up on your LOW flour situation!

I hear you on the fridge price Paula, my MIL kept HOPING for her 30 year old fridge to die for good for about 5 years so I wasn't sure which camp you were in, hoping it would last or hoping for a new one!

I only THOUGHT October was hectic. November...Oh my!

Ok, I am off to get back at the kitchen, supper is in the oven

Well, the fridge is not looking good...Jeff is fiddling with it right now and he does have a knack so it's still possible! If not, there goes our emergency fund. But at least we have it!

Very pretty Cher!

So the best laid plans....went to lunch with Ash, didn't go so well. Now have an appointment for an upper GI and endoscopy next week. I think I need some IV nourishment, I don't think I'm back to par after the flu.

What's for dinner? We are having grilled boneless chicken thighs, left over pasta and Tuscan bean salad with kale in it. I could eat that salad every day! Yum.

Didn't get anymore house work done as I got side tracked. I decided to take a walk on my trails since its cold enough to wear boots and pants. Decided I want to mow it so I could start enjoying it again. By mowing I mean pushing a weed wackier that looks kinda like a push mower. I got over 10000 steps in doing that! and now I've got a nice trail to walk on again.

Well, I guess I should do something. Jeff is out looking at refrigerators. Kids are eating. I need to go somewhere for bread in a little bit. I will fold clothes at least while the kids finish up.

Oh Joyce, I am so sorry. Please keep us posted.

Paula, Ugh, I am sorry. So far I have been happy with mine, I bought one with the freezer on the bottom. It works great so far but the dishwasher I picked out some years ago is a lemon. I guess I am 50/50 with purchasing the right appliances.

Well, we were defeated in our quest by our kitchen island. We were looking at plain jane freezer on top models, but then realized the door won't open unless we ditch the island. Which I'd love to do sometime, but it's wired and I'm pretty sure there's no floor underneath it so it's not just a quick fix. So we're calling a repairman after all.

I was worrying about that too and wondering what you were going to do with the food. Do you have an ice chest? Doesn't hold a whole lot, I know but it helped get us through when ours caught fire!

Yikes! Fire is bad! Yes, I bought one. Our old one had broken so we kind of needed it anyway. We have a little one, too. And right now the freezer is acting like a fridge so that's helpful!

Cher what a beautiful kitchen. Mine is still from the 1960's minus the gold and green. Once of these days we will finally get it redone.

Joyce hope you feel better really soon. For sure you need to take care of yourself.

Paula hope the frig situation gets taken care of soon. Glad the freezer is getting cool enough to help with the frig type items.

Kra it does sound like your's is the place to be should there be some type of disaster.

Stopped at a store other than Wally...and they only had 4 bags of flour on the shelf...but I feel a little more prepared for winter now...

When I got out of the car one of the kids said...who will you see that you know in there? I said...no one...who's going to be at this store at this time of night?

WELL...as usual...I saw 1 person that wasn't an employee...and yep...I knew the person! Hadn't see her in 11 years...her brother was my step-dad...he died 11 years ago.

Today's plan...I hope I can stamp...a lady that is 86 would like some baby cards...think I'll do some simple cards with coloring...that would be relaxing this morning...
