So far:
Showered and dressed
Cleaned up after Amelia - she wanted to wear panties this morning
Folded clothes
Unloaded, reloaded, started dishwasher
Printed Target coupons
Put away folded clothes
Read Bible
Make a Target list
Start a load of laundry
Push kids on swings
Declutter - top shelf in my upper cabinet, I'm short so I never get up there
Lunch
Look at Cartwheel for coupons

Next:
Get Archer
Switch laundry
Go to Target and Petsmart

Hi all, I have a PT job for a week or two here, hard to juggle everything when one is not used to it, plus we have lots of church stuff going on right now. Hope all is well with everyone.

Woot to Misti, she picked the number that chose my card for HYCCT. $25 shopping spree with a cardstock company. Free cardstock is a good thing!

Hi all.
I started cleaning today for Christmas decorating. My mantle is decorated. I plan on having everything done before December 1. With the exception of gift wrapping. Which i do as i buy things, and as we don't buy much that shouldn't be an issue.

Made my Mammogram appointment today.

Congrats to the hycct winners! How fun!

Life is crazy right now...I have no time to catch up. Tests are abundant, painting is non-stop, and the kids are keeping me busy as well. I had three tests on Monday (I got 100% on the two I got back ), and had a test today, and I have two tests tomorrow...that is, if I make it to school tomorrow. We have snow falling here now and we are supposed to have snow mixed with 60 km/hr winds. That could be pretty nasty for driving and I may just stay put.

On a good note, I got pretty much all my Christmas shopping done for my kids.

I liked it for your test scores and for having your kid shopping done, definitely not for craziness, more tests, and bad weather!

Good morning and thanks Misti for the mini mission. I'll get to that later in the day.

This week has been a doozie so I am still not caught up with everyone. - I guess that will come later too.

Today's mission is
Go to the college and deal with a disgruntled student who cursed at me during class and I was told to write an incident report. She feels she did nothing wrong. After missing 2 nights of good sleep over this crap I'm in the best possible mood to handle this. God help me.

Once I get home I need to do some cleaning from when I was away and dh was home by himself and the mini mission as well.

I hope you all have a nice Thursday. Chat with you soon.

Good morning y'all!

Today is a fun day for me! I'm goin to The Christmas Affair. It's a winter wonderland shopping extravaganza. My sister and I go every year. It's so much fun even if I don't buy much. I find it gets me in the holiday spirit.

So I gotta get packed to spend the night, get showered and dressed, and drop my dog off at the kids.

Boys have been working on their school work, trying to get in as much as possible. Waiting on the dryer to finish so we can take care of that before we leave.

Need to leave here by 9:30...

Appointment
Pick up straight fletching clamp, nocks, points
Get shirt?
Groceries-- pants
Pick up Allie
Drive home

Make Allie's bed
Cook food to take
Pack snacks
Pack clothes, toiletries

Make a DT card

Morning! Such a lot to do today and I haven't made a list yet and don't have time to even work on it now before I go to choir. I guess it will have to wait until I get back.

Wish me luck with my little people. It looks like snow and they are always a little more crazy when there is weather.

Morning! Jeff's off today. He took the little two to have lunch with Archer. I've handwashed dishes this morning - almost done, cleaned dog off the carpet, and Jeff is smoking a turkey!

On my agenda is order his pie! I forgot yesterday. Also, get my OCC boxes labeled and paid for. Call my mom and a friend about getting together next week. Check for Walgreens codes as I really need to order photos this month. Do some decluttering. Take back library books. Roast the butternut squash I bought last night.

Angie, school life is different! So far it has been easier than I feared. And I think he is doing well. Amelia and Ezra are doing better together than I worried, too. (Sensing a pattern?) I'm very much looking forward to the week off, though. Even if it is crazy busy.

LOL... when I read OCC yesterday all I could think was OCD and I was confused. Today I figured out it was Operation Christmas Child... Oh, dear. I am SO slow sometimes!! LOL!!

I am glad things are going fairly smoothly!!! It's NICE when things turn out a bit better than we were anticipating!!! The week off is always a GIFT!!!! No matter how busy it is I love a NON-school routine day, better yet a string of them!

Had such a fun day with dsis! Christmas Affair was wonderful.

Now I'm at the kiddos. Zack got shots on Tuesday and he's had a really bad day! Which means mommy and daddy have had a really bad day! so I'm spending the night by request in case I can be of any help.

Dh and ds2 are out hunting wild hog. So they won't miss me.

i don't mind helping DH out here for a bit with this PT job but I REALLLY dislike being away from home 7 hours a day more than one day at a time. LOL not cut out for the working world.

Good morning, beautiful friends! It's my dad's birthday and the 50th anniversary of the JFK assasination. Do they still run shows on it all day? For years all my dad did on his birthday was watch JFK documentaries.

I did get my shoeboxes dropped off yesterday, yay! Misti & Cher (and anyone else) I'd love to hear what you put in yours sometime! Also got Jeff's pecan pie ordered, bought firewood since the temps are supposed to plummet tonight, tried a butternut squash recipe from Pioneer Woman - yum!, and finished Amelia's Hanukkah circle skirt. Jeff bagged the turkey. We won't starve for a while!

I started reading the She Reads Truth devotionals this week. Yesterday's was about giving thanks in stress. It was so good! give thanks in stress - #SheReadsTruth | #SheReadsTruth if anyone wants to read it.

Today, I'm not sure what we have going on. There is an all day kid event at Barnes and Noble so I'd like to take the kids to that. I MUST get to the library! Call my dad. Figure out his card. Start another crafty gift. I need to find a grocery store gift card that we got. They had some great toy deals believe it or not. And with a gift card is even better!

Hope everyone has a wonderful morning, full of peace and thanksgiving, enjoyable PT work, fluffy bread, clean bedrooms, and not-crazy people!

Paula, we usually do boy shoe boxes for OCC. Pencils, pencil sharpeners, toothpaste, tooth brush, a bar of soap, a wash cloth, matchbox cars, crayons, colored pencils, balls, a fun pad, notebook, yoyo, play dough, small frisbee...

I did 4 boys and 4 girls at least 1 per age group. I didn't get soap, I kind of wish I had, but I will put that on the list for next year. And I didn't get the boys hairbrushes. The dollar spot had hello kitty ones this year so I bought 4 of those. Next year, I will get the boys a comb or brush, too! Always learning!

I did clearance shirts, socks, bandaids, toothbrushes and toothpaste, pencils and sharpeners, washcloth or bath pouf, glue sticks, a coloring medium, and then it diverged from there. The girls all got sunglasses and a small stamp and ink pad set. The boys all got yoyos and whoopie cushions. Everyone got paper in one variety or other. Everyone but the oldest groups got a small stuffed animal. The oldest ones got tennis balls. I wish shoe boxes were bigger!

I have an OCC box that I collect stuff for all year. I'll use back to school sales & other sales throughout the year. Sometimes I can pick up multiple items of the same thing, but sometimes it's a random item here or there that I find on sale.

That's what I did, too, until last month when I started filling in my blank spots hard and heavy. I try to snag the dollar spot pencils when they are 70% off. Target toy clearance is where the stuffed toys came from.

I think this is the first year we didn't do a box. Our church always filled them after church one Sunday, but we weren't around this year and I didn't think ahead enough to find a drop off spot. I'm going to look at it now and work on planning ahead for next year. Thanks for the push!!

Today is a "there is so much to do and I don't even know what it all is and I'll never EVER get caught up.... EEEEEEEEK" day.

It is 10:35 and I feel like I haven't done a thing, but I've made the bed, made waffles for breakfast, took care of the dogs, read my Bible, printed a GraceWorks calendar, sent two invoices, cut and punched the calendar, answered emails, drunk two cups of coffee, and posted on the prize thread. So I [I]have [I] done things, I just don't know if they were the right things!

I'm off to make a VERY LONG list.

They sound like good things to me. Some important things on that list.

Found my gift card, cleaned up my craft table, read my Bible, had lunch, doing laundry, putting away laundry, unloaded the dishwasher, trying to decide if I have time to run to the store without the kids or not before it's time to get Archer for school.
