You could always move to Texas. We have a house for sale next to us that has amazing views. We could be neighbors!!!

I don't know about white shoes, but I wore Teva sandals to Israel and Disneyworld and my feet didn't hurt. My friend has the flip flops and says they are amazing! Women's Shoes and Sandals | Teva.com

Ouch. I just looked at the prices. I never paid more than $50 for mine. But it's been a long time. And I know my friend got the flips at DSW (Discount Shoe Warehouse). They do last for years.

I bought three new bras yesterday. I thought Kohls was having a promotion but it doesn't start until the 6th. The lady was very nice, though, and went ahead and honored the part that she could. Excited to put the old ones in a box until we're sure we're done having kids.

I can see that happening to me. And with all the work you do finding the right ones, you don't want to have to put them back. I would have bought them and then come back and do the return buy back to get the deal. But, with little ones I'm sure it's not worth it.

There are several houses for sale in my neighborhood! I'm sure Cher has a better view, though.

And, yes, Cher! I was there with just Amelia so I didn't want to put them back for later. I hadn't really thought about buying, returning, and buying again. I got a pretty good deal when all is said and done.

When I post from my phone and click manage attachments it browses from my camera roll. It only lets me upload one. And they're usually sideways.

OMG it worked. That was a picture I took on our very long drive back from colorado. I was trying to learn how to take a picture of myself. Still working on it and slowly getting better.

One of my projects for today is to decide about signing up for Missus Smarty Pants and having my colors done. I had them done as a teen, but my hair is a little (!) more grey now and my skin tone is different too. Still have the same body shape, though. Straight up and down, skinny and flat. My dd's are the same way. We have NO fashion sense whatsoever (I live in sweaters, mock turtlenecks and skirts or slacks), and my poor 21 yo dd is constantly being taken for a 14 yo. Those of you who subscribe, do you think it's worth the money??

I used her service for a year, thought it was well worth the money for what I learned. I already knew I was a strong autumn with winter overtures and didnt need that part of her service. My ou will learn a lot and it has been very helpful for me.

That's what I was thinking - a one year subscription to just get us on the right track and help me update my wardrobe for this next stage in my life.

Well, I did it! I signed up yesterday and I'll send in my color survey today. I'm looking forward to getting it back so I can go through my wardrobe and do some shopping. I just wish she could tell me what to do with my hair!!!

Well, I haven't gotten my color survey back yet, but I went to Goodwill at the beginning of the week and tried on and tried on and tried on and ended up with 15 pieces of clothing to start rebuilding my wardrobe - including a brand new "little blue dress" from Old Navy complete with tag. Then I ordered some denim skirts, a couple 3/4 length basic tees and 2 necklaces from Christopher and Banks. Everything coordinates... grey, navy, cornflower-ish or muted teal blue, cream, light yellow and a bright green, and I have about 35-38 pieces that I'll be keeping in my wardrobe total, including shoes and accessories. I spent a little over $150 total for both purchases - Not too bad, I didn't think, since I'm basically rebuilding my wardrobe from scratch. Needless to say, I was happy I had some of the tax refund at my disposal!! I'll try to take a picture of some of the outfits when my C&B order gets here. I still have a couple of things I'm looking for - some shoes and a pretty silk scarf for sure... but I need to see where I am when the C&B order arrives and the closet is cleaned out!!

Good for you!!! I would love to see your new outfits all put together.

If Brent is up and on the go when I leave for school in the mornings, I will get him to take pictures of my school outfits to show you guys.

Awesome!!! Your blog post was very informative. It was very motivating!

Very cool, Tricia! That sounds very reasonable for all you got! Thanks to Misti I just read your blog post and I agree, very informative. I'd like to buy The No-Brainer Wardrobe, I just kind of wish it wasn't an e-book. I haven't gotten into them yet.

I buy a lot of classic clothes and stuff that can be mixed and matched together. I throw in a touch of color that will go with most of what I have and then I add a couple of trendy pieces. I don't go overboard with the trend stuff because that don't usually stay in style very long and...well...I'm cheap! LOL! I want my clothes to last as long as possible.

I just haven't focused on my wardrobe very much in the past 6 years because it's been all about having kids and I've bloomed then shrunk 3 times in there. I'll go buy a few pieces here and there but that's it. I don't think I've done a wardrobe overhaul in 9 or 10 years? And there's no way all my stuff would color coordinate because I really like red and pink or berry, but not at the same time.

What do you all think of this purse? Merona® Floral Tote Handbag - Navy : Target

I saw it and thought it was really pretty, but it's not the kind of thing I would normally buy. Well, today, my purse ripped and I don't think I'll be able to carry it for more than a few weeks. Just curious.

My .02... I had a purse of similar size/shape... I had to have everything organized inside in zipper type pouches, because of the magnetic closure, any time the purse got tipped, dumped, etc. everything got jumbled. Once I got the zippered pouches & a key hook things were much better!
