We get a big refund too. It covered DS1 high school tuition so I am praying we get the same amount this year. It is really crazy what we pay to send him to school.

Y'all are so good to me! Thank you for listening to me go on and on about Zack. I hope I don't wear you out . I'd chatter on endlessly even if he had had a perfect start in life.

Some times you have to sacrifice for your children! He will thank you one day. We were blessed to live in some excellent schools districts when our were growing up. Even when we moved to Md. The schools were what effected our decision as to where to buy a home.

Joyce and Paula ~ thank you for your input about Blogspot, type pad and Blogger. It is a more business blog. I need to do something to boost my SU business. I've tried the DWBS but it got me no leads and cost me money - basically in 6 months it was not paying for itself.

Joyce ~ I like to towels and other things that have been mentioned. I posted on the other thread for this month in ref to your sweaters about making cup cozies from them. Might be something else to add.

Paula ~ I have a hard time with rodeos - I have cousins who have been award winning rodeo clowns, bronk & bull riders in Cheyenne, WY. I know the injuries they have sustained and then the medic comes out in me and it's just more than I can handle. I find myself saying (even when watching TV) "Get him off".

Cher ~ You go on as much as you want about your Zach. I love hearing about him.

Was a typical SHE for a few hours!

Made 3 cards...ha ha...didn't write any hand correspondence though I did send a few emails that had been hanging in my head (that's as close to being Changito as I could get! )

Forgot it was Monday and laundry was suppose to be happening...

It stopped snowing but the drifts around the house are huge...we might have gotten 3 inches of snow...bare spots in the driveway but am sure krapoppa will have drifts to battle...

I can understand that! I cringe. A lot. Really, we will probably do the fair and kiddie stuff more than anything. I doubt we'll even try for the concert tonight. Jeff just called and said they don't go until about 9.

BTW - I saw a documentry (Behind the Music or something like that) about STYX not long ago. It was a fairly recent one and they were still wonderful. If I remember right they have 3 of the original members still. The lead singer was replaced and the drummer died but the rest are original. The replacement lead singer I would not have known the difference had I not been told. My heart still skips around just talking about them.

And I know what you mean about the rodeo. I don't like the bull riding or the bucking bronco!

Been a slow day for me.
Got the kitchen cleaned up,from yesterday's cookout
Emptied dishwasher
Washed all Zacks bottles and spoons
Put away floor squares we use for Zack
Put away all other baby parifinalia
Cleaned out several dresser drawers
Shredded old receipts
Ate lunch with dh
Walked dog
Did exercise video for strength

Hmmm, it looks like a lot but it isn't.

Hello! I'm back...did you miss me....even a little bit???

So March is here....March is a extreme month for me, with Highs and lows...It's full of days that are full of happy memories but have the twist of remembering loved ones that have gone.

I dropped DH at the airport this morning, this time potential being away for 3 weeks, but who knows he may be back at the weekend, the way this thing is organised lol!

I spent yesterday doing my flying, laundry, bathrooms, kitchen, bed changing, lounge swishing, floors etc oh and packing him up for 3 weeks...ladies never let a man say woman pack to much when they go away!

We were out the door by 5:45 this morning, but I managed to make breakfast, make the beds and get us out the door with everything we needed!

So tonight....

unload dishwasher
do little bit of washing up from this morning (plate and cup)
do final laundry switch
bring one basket of laundry up and put away

spend time of my stamp cataloging

I hope everyone is doing OK, I will try and read through March so far, but sending hugs to those who need them.

ETA - I have also sorted 2 boxes from my craft cave - they were both the size of medium or large (if it fits-type) boxes. 1 was full of adhesives anf the other was loose stamps. I will keep the vast majority of the adhesives but am only keeping about 1/2 of the stamps and some of them are questionable. DD1 said she would come over one day this week and help me go through my stamp sets and make decisions on them. We have discussed having a papercraft yard sale later this spring to get rid of things we no longer want.

Still feeling icky here. Sinuses and aches I planned to sleep in. Even had the teen get himself up, the 4yo had other plans up at 6:15. Grrr. I had one of those bad nights sleeping again I needed to use the bathroom and get a drink and some medicine but I knew the baby would wake up. DD1 looks a ton better today. She is sitting up and doing some of her normal stuff.

I won't be doing much but laundry and feeding people today.

DS1 has an early dismissal from school today. I so don't feel like driving anywhere.

Snow day here...NP schools are closed as are all area schools...we had about 6 inches yesterday and more to come today!

My 2 college students have class...they are both doing college from home!

My day...

No need to haul garbage through the snow for 2 blocks to the road!
Doctor canceled appointment yesterday for today!
No laundry to wash!
No going any place as we can't get out of the driveway!

I will:
s&d-though this would be a good footless, feeted pj & robe day
make cards
write more correspondence
vacuum (every day event for you and me)
put away laundry
fold whites

Lupper (about 2 PM)-leftovers from Sunday

I kept all the adhesives that I had accumulated because someone liked this brand and this was such a good deal...and blah, blah, blah...

I continued to work my way through the boxes (the decorative ones at Michael's that are often 4 for $10 or $1.66)...I am now at only 2 boxes and they contain all my favorites...Scotch Double-sided tape, SU Dimensionals and clear dots (Michael's brand)...I won't buy anything else in the future...I really like these 3 items...

So glad I worked my way through the adhesives...rather than getting rid of them...some were a real pain to work through but I can say I DID IT!

I like all the adhesive I have except some of the double-sided tape. I bought it while at the beach trying to make some cards. The only double sided tape I've ever like is the red-line tape. I am going to offer it to dd1 and I know I have someone in my life who likes it though right this minute I can't remember who it is.

I have a lot of dimensionals that I use on a regular basis and I have a couple of tape runners with multiple refils I use on a regular basis. Then there are some of the liquid adhesives I use for other projects and loads of dots that I use for applying buttons and the like. All of these things I will use without doubt.

I have to admit while I am a SU demo, I only use the dimensionals and their tape-runner while demoing their products so I have to keep them around. I am going to store them in my SU go bag that has all my paperwork, pens, et for SU events.

Having said all this I could put all the adhisive that I use on a regular basis into 1 bin probably about the size of the boxes you're talking about as well.

She is sitting up and doing some of her normal stuff.

I won't be doing much but laundry and feeding people today.

DS1 has an early dismissal from school today. I so don't feel like driving anywhere.
So sorry you didn't get to sleep in this morning. Maybe you'll still get to rest a while during the day. (fingers crossed) Glad dd1 looks better and seems back to normal.

I saw in Walmart's flyer this weekend that O'cedar has a robotic vacuum for less than $50. Has anyone seen it? If so, what are your thoughts? I looked for it when I went grocery shopping but did not find it. I wanted to get a good look at it and see what it does, what other things it requires, how big an area it will cover, how long the battery life is, etc. I would be so willing to drive my cat crazy with it if it meant I didn't have to sweep nearly every day. Since I don't follow the shoes on part of Flylady I feel the grit under my feet. ARG!

Morning lovelies! We had a good time at the rodeo. We did try to see the concert because someone who worked there told us it would be much earlier, but Amelia kept trying to hurl herself out of our arms so we left before the rodeo events were over.

Melissa, I never saw any real cows! Well, except for the ones in the arena and we were WAY up at the top so they were teeny tiny. I did instagram Ezra doing the milking display.

The boys LOVED the rides. Amelia was miffed because she wasn't tall enough to ride anything. Archer even rode a ride all by himself and it was kind of a scary one, but he had fun! I was amazed!

So that was this year's rodeo!

Today's plan is to take care of things at home and I hope to get in my craft room! Tomorrow is my stepmom's birthday so I'd like to at least make her card today. I need to go to the post office this afternoon and stop somewhere to get vitamins for the kids. I'll do today's mission, but I REALLY need to do yesterday's! Just 3 weeks until Passover and my pantry is a mess!

Glad you like the quote Donna T! I though it was share worthy!

A rodeo with NO cows! Teeny tiny ones. hee hee...and I wll check out Ezra and the milking display! Was that with Kentucky Kate? From the Dairy Association?

Several years back...I wanted a dairy association coat...and the dairy association had just bought a fiberglass milkable cow! They wanted names! So I submitted MollyMoo!

I came in fifth place. Maybe it was fourth place? I saved the article...somewhere. I should scrap it with the pics of me attempting to milk the milkable fiberglass cow. I submitted the ONLY name without Kentucky or Bluegrass in it.

I wanted that COAT!

AND...I do have a pic of me milking the milkable fiberglass cow. named Kentucky Kate. A bit more creativity people. MollyMoo.
